As I was watching the LED part I was shouting USE A RESISTOR, and you did, nice. The electrical engineering student in me was pleased, and my inner gunpla nerd was amazed. Great job!
I’ve recently started customising a gunpla for the first time. It is for a contest and this video gave me inspiration on what more design I can put in my custom gunpla. Such good timing. Thanks, Sinix!
I like those kinds of customization... it's like making the custom parts act like a circuit-board just to activate LED parts whatever you like... which built the same as a PG, even smaller.
So I´ve been watching a shit ton of Gunpla videos lately, as I´m trying to get into model building again. Gotta say, this one is my favorite yet! So detailed and such a relaxing atmosphere. Almost like discussing a project with a good friend. Edit: The stop motion was fantastic btw :D
You have to make more video like this.. auto subs after watching this.. honestly one of the best wip video i ve ever watch.. great detailed explanation.. good job
Whoa, I loved the stop motion animation. It was sooooo good. I also loved the LED in the head. Cool effect. I think the only thing that is missing is a logo or another paint pattern on one of the thighs to break the symmetry and the metallic color on such a large area. .
All the videos I see on RUclips are about 1/100 or the HG Zaku which offers no challenge. How would you light up an HG 1/144 Gundam-type eyes? Micro-drill?
I really hope this is an on-going series, I always love looking through custom gunpla but not too many videos on people doing custom LED processes or their own designs to kits
I have absolutely NO idea of what the heck you're talkinga bout, but it sounds very cool and shows how amazing those things can be( wonder if i'll ever get the chance to play one day with one of these myself lol)
Gunpla can be fairly cheap, anywhere from 15-45 USD for most high grades or master grades. The incredibly huge Perfect grades are a lot costlier, but getting into the hobby is really cheap
Real cool shit with the LED. Videos like these actually make me want to get into that, but I dont even put enough time into drawingg so I'll have to pass. I'd really enjoy more of these videos though, especially with custom mods like that.
hey man.. check out citadels painting tips on Warhammer TV.. you can put the sharpies away and like actually use pigments and inks. It will be awesome trust me
It's even older. It's an Intuos 2 tablet, which was released in 2001. In 2004 the Intuos 3 series was released which looks different, so really we're basically talking about around a 17 year old tablet pen.
You spent $20 on the kit itself, I'm going to end up spending like $80 on the kit itself because the USA Gundam Store is out of stock and Amazon has it. Then, I can use my Testors model car paints to make it look however I want
What is my purpose?
You hold stylus
Oh my god
welcome to the club buddy
kjj9227 I'm laughing a lot more then I should be lol
**OH MY GOD**
-noooooo-
Ohh... "Front mission 3" OST in the end. It's so nostalgic...
That music in the end. Front mission? Oh the nostalgia!
As I was watching the LED part I was shouting USE A RESISTOR, and you did, nice. The electrical engineering student in me was pleased, and my inner gunpla nerd was amazed. Great job!

The Graze Custom is so awesome and its piloted by such a badass! Great work on yours!
I like those kinds of customization... it's like making the custom parts act like a circuit-board just to activate LED parts whatever you like... which built the same as a PG, even smaller.
You basically painted it with the color scheme of the most hated character from the anime. But it looks frickin cool! You're awesome dude.
The lack of shine in the yellow actually helps in making it look more weathered. Maybe not what you were going for, but still really cool 👍
The little animation in the end is so awesome
masi : hey i made this server
sinix : i made this
You have amazing design knowledge. I hope you make more videos about model kits. Just freaking amazing work my man.

It's even older. It's an Intuos 2 tablet, which was released in 2001. In 2004 the Intuos 3 series was released which looks different, so really we're basically talking about around a 17 year old tablet pen.

Do you have a link to the metallic paint you used? It looks great.
It's Tamiya spray can. Tamiya spray paints are really good quality. Gunmetal.
