Most everyone who reads this knows me, but for those who do not, my name is Lexi Greer and I am seventeen years old. For the past year my mental health has taken a harsh decline. I was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and anorexia nervosa. In November of 2023, I was admitted to children’s hospital for malnutrition. Unfortunately, things did not get better after my hospital stay. Since then, I have attempted recovery many times; failing with every try. I want this to change. I want to honor God, and myself, by working to heal my mind and body once and for all. I want to hold myself accountable by creating a platform where I can share my journey and experiences with everyone. I want to use my story to encourage others who may find themselves in a similar situation. Sadly, we live in a culture that does not educate people well enough on the struggles of mental health. It is up to us to make a change.
