The fault finding was very good. Even this wasn't the only fault. Great one!
The 5-legged component on the back was probably ok. The reason for the difference in diode readings is that the components you were comparing were not identical. I'm sure the two components do the exact same thing, but the manufacturer will use parts from various vendors as needed. You may have noticed the part numbers did not match. Slightly different parts, slightly different diode readings.
Was my PS4 lol. Thank you for the repair
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for sharing
Hmm.. interesting diode behaviour. Great detective work, again
Great Job :)
Nice job. An unrelated question: what type of iron tip do you use? This one looks pretty big! T245? Tnx
Excellent! 😁
I have the exact same problem on a PS4 Pro board atm. So your solution should also fix my fault. 😊 What exact type of transistor is this? Because i don't have a donor board.
Greetings!
Did the pin 3 still read as ground?
What i always find surprising about the professional use of hot air is that i thought components shouldn't be heated too much to avoid damage. I've especially heard hdmi chip failures are due to excess heat/poor cooling, so the risk seems greater. Even to the extent that putting heat sinks on these is advised to prolong life.
What ticket system are you using?
Sir I lost one of those 4 tiny component behind the HDMI port
So what is the solution for that
Please help
Great job mate, most people would just have changed the encoder and after still not getting an output, deem it a "no fix", I guess.
By the way, what microscope are you using? The image quality is very good. I would like to buy one :D
IMX 385 sensor good in low light.
@@rocketrepairs Ok thanks. But wow, it is much more expensive than I thought 😮
What microscope are you using
