As a student at this school, I am not not in the orchestra. But I AM a choir and theatre student. To see this is super amazing, and I thank you so much for this opportunity! Our orchestra works very hard, and we even have some working on our current production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! They put so much time and effort into each practice, and I adore listening to them. Much love

Could be that they have social anxiety.
I was part of the orchestra and there were many times we got halfway through a piece and somebody would skip. We had about 5 hours to record and we used almost all of it haha.

In truth, it’s probably a bit overwhelming. They probably just wanted to find a cute guy, not an entire surprise orchestra.
Idea for the next time: use the most obvious green screen with a fake orchestra behind you. Start playing and drop the green screen to reveal the actual orchestra behind you.

Rob...I spent my entire adult life in the entertainment industry...I was a lighting and sound engineer for the best of the best entertainers in the world, from Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr and more....this took my breath away and made me cry...it is just wonderful. Thank You!!!

I was there at rehearsal for this as my brother is a cellist there. I will confirm A LOT of people skipped. I guess it is a little surprising to see a whole symphony orchestra on omegle lol

Been listening to Classical music for over 55 years and they are one of the best High School orchestras that I have heard. Well done all of you!

I refuse to believe this is a high school orchestra. What talent! And the few moments you can see the conductor's face, he is so proud.
I also love how him and the students all have their own little decorations/hats/eyepatches to match the pieces as well.
I never had an experience like this in high school. The fact that they all showed up and put in the time outside of normal classes, rehealsals, performances to make this happen and have it be such a beautiful success amazes me.
These kids deserve the best they can get, and so does the conductor, because he's clearly loved and respected.
Truly awesome video. The time and effort behind it is known and appreciated, and I can't give you enough respect.

I think the only reason anyone would skip this is because they either think it's fake or they get so overwhelmed with emotion that they don't even know what to do with themselves. @@purplespidey6276 - I can imagine this took a long time to film with how difficult Omegle can be. This video is only 11m after all, a bunch of stuff must have been cut out. People skipping straight away or mid-way through a performance along with rude people and dudes jerking it. Although I guess everyone else wouldn't see that with the computer up front. Maybe even some good reactions that were cut out too? Was it all done in one day?
@@thec-m well for starters we’d been working on this music for months with lots and lots of rehearsals, and then the recording day was about five hours of us waiting for a chance to play and then trying to get a good reaction to use for this video. We got breaks and overall it was super fun, but it took a lot of time and hard work to make it a reality!

The funny thing is Lafayette was one of the most competitive bands when I was in marching band but I only saw their performances for one of the two years I did marching band in high school, the have absolutely phenomenal talent and sound. Seeing people do things like this is quite emotional for me as I remember my band days in high school and I miss them dearly as we were all treated like the directors kids so we were all family.

You should listen to their marching band! Top in the state normally. They were 14th in the region. One of the best marching bands in the country.
