For anyone wondering Victors voice actor said in an interview that his accent is based on czech accent because he played one on previous job Czech are from West slavic language group together with Polish, Slovak etc.

As Czech person I think Czech language is one of hard sounding. But Viktor sounds really polite. I don't know. Maybe accent could be Czech but there's something else.

I feel like it's hard to describe, it's definitely slavic, but since we're native Czech speakers, we can just tell that a person who speaks English with a Czech accent to me just sounds someone who "speaks really bad english", but I don't mean to be offensive, at least they learned to speak English, it's still impressive that anybody can learn a language no matter how they sound speaking it or how much vocabulary they can use so far

I was so sad when I first found out that most of the voiceover actors sound exactly like their characters but Harry Loyd sounds nothing like Victor. So... I'm even more happy that I found someone that actually does.
You have no idea how much I enjoyed this. I love slavic accents so much. You do sound a lot like him to me. For me Viktor is sweet, he has suffered, he's kind and intelligent and i have also suffered a lot with my health so I relate to him.

Well my boyfriend (funny enough who introduced me to Arcane and League) is Polish and he looks and sounds almost identical to Viktor soooo I had a bit of a bias towards him for that alone lmaooo
physically you are the same as Viktor, now regarding the voice I consider that both have the same way of pronouncing the words but the tone of voice is different, Viktor's voice is a little deeper, but his way of pronouncing the words is it is quite similar. I loved the video greetings :)

In my opinion Victor is popular also bcs of the calm and suave vibe he gives. That combined with high empathy, which he doesn't lose thoughout the series, eventhough his obsessive drive for his ambitions, makes a blend that's utterly charming

And name ''Victor'' is very rare in russia (though female ''Victoria'' isn't, not popular, but still not as rare as Victor at all), you can meet much more 'Victors'' in Romania, Moldova, France and the most of them in Spain. From my own experience of traveling and living in Slavic countries I can say that the name ''Victor'' is rare in Ukraine, Belarus, russia, Poland, Check Republic, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia. Never met or even heard about a single ''Victor'' there.

I absolutely love the Romanian accent in English; I think it sounds so elegant, and I love how "sharp" it is. Because Viktor's VA doesn't keep that R consistent (it's trilled half the time, rhotic the other half), I can hear the difference between what he is going for and how you sound, but there are moments where you overlap so much. The quality and timbre of your voice is also SO similar though!!

viktor's accent in the show is actually mostly inspired by a czech accent, though the voice actor did intentionally change it a little to make it a non-existent, fantasy accent. i think to a lot of us who are from different parts of the world all eastern european accents sound very similar :') i'm dutch and i fear i cant really tell the difference between your accent and his 😭
AH Your freaking adorable and I can't stand it , the smile is plastered on my face I cannot deny that. I know this is from a year ago but I just recently watched arcane and absolutely adore it. The reason I love Viktor so much is all my senses are dulled, worn glasses since I was 2, had surgery on my right ear and have hearing problems, can barely smell (getting that sense back a little over time) , and my equilibrium is trash due to all the above issues.... That and almost 97% of my family are addicts and from working class and all I want to do is draw . Viktor reminds me it does not matter if your from the undercity/ground level of human being if you have belief in *yourself* sometimes that's all you need. Jayce is to obvious for me, sure he has muscle but he's easily persuaded by the gross politics and Mel and that's very unattractive to me if you throw away your passion for what someone else tells you to do. That and well , I think a lot of women if you ask them genuinely don't mind a skinnier guy looks wise . The more I relate to a character as a pansexual personally the more ability I have to find them attractive and or admirable .
