    Hey Legit Camel Retro I have a RTX 3070 TI OC V2 From Asus Tuf. Would this make a difference in the FPS as appose to your your regular RTX 3070 For 1440p Gaming?

    I really enjoyed! I would love to see that paired with a higher tier card to really see the limits of that cpu!

      Thanks! We will have something coming up soon, we plan on getting a 7900xtx so should have a lot of fun benchmarks coming up with that gpu.

    I’m going for a very similar build except I have a 3070ti! I have been looking at the Asus B650-a but wasn’t sure whether or not I should buy it. It seems to be one of the better midranged am5 boards but I’m not sure. Would you recommend?

    • @LegitCamelRetro

      I think that asus board is a great choice, b650 boards are totally overkill in feature set this generation.

    Do you think your Ryzen 7 7700X + RTX3070 configuration will be enough to enjoy gaming for years to come?
    GPU will try to update with more timing.

      @@gianlucadirauso3948 I think the 7700x is perfect if you are just gaming, spending more doesnt yield a ton more performance, but I would also recommend waiting to see what the 7800x3d ends up looking like cus that could end up being the best value amd CPU.

    So could I keep my old 3600mhz ddr4 ram or do these boards (am5) not supported?

    • @LegitCamelRetro

      unfortunately no, its ddr5 only boards, intel sells both versions.

    I have an RTX 3070 paired with my old i7 7700 and i don't really know if i should get the 7700x or the i7 13700. Would you recommend the 7700x for long period use (i usually keep a computer for about 6-7 years) or should i go with Intel's 13th gen?

    • @LegitCamelRetro
      @LegitCamelRetro  Год назад +1

      I think it depends on if you plan on doing upgrades along the way through your 6-7 years of use. If you plan to slot in a CPU upgrade once in a while, or RAM, I would recommend AMDs am5 7000 series as they plan on keeping the am5 platform going for a while, where intels 13th gen is at its dead end so you wont have any opportunities to upgrade. If you don't plan on upgrading 13th gen is more power hungry but generally a bit more powerful.

    • @nushnume
      @nushnume Год назад

      @@LegitCamelRetro Yeah,i have no problem with upgrading the CPU in the future. I've seen people with Ryzen 1700x Builds upgrade to a 5800x with the same old board they already had. I just got the Ryzen 7 7700 non x and i like it alot. Some people would probably say i should've gone with the 7700X but since i don't do any OC and it's easier to cool due to the lower TDP i'm really fine with it. I'm actually using it with the cooler that came with it and it's actually doing a pretty decent job cooling it compared to the stock cooler that came with my old i7 7700 which i had to replace with an aftermarket one because it was inefficient

      Isn't Ryzen supposed to be better for multitasking and Intel better in single tasks? Or has Intel changed it's game in the area and it can now handle multitasking better?

      Well it really depends on the game, but I suspect in most titles you wont be able to, you need a beefier processor to get really high fps like that in the usual esports titles, but it really depends what you play because some games you might.
