No, it was alright. But after 140 things tend to get more complicated with this small engine.
@@SuperchargedMagazine Yeah i think so too :) On the other hand my 2.0 136 hp 206 Convertible (which is a bit heavier) will do 220 as long as you're downhill no problem

@@schalke4005 Actually very low. I had about 68,000 miles (109435km). Turns out it had already had a head gasket replacement at 15,000 miles (24,000km)!

Alex I think that because he dosent own the cars he dosent want to thrash the nuts off them and even if he did it would be fine as the engine isn’t anywhere near it’s potential rpm

I just bought a peugeot 206 1.1 and im having a hard time driving it in town. it keeps stalling and i every time i make a stop even on the slightest uphil my car keeps going back when i try to start it, even at the lowest uphill it needs a handbreak and im not used to using a handbreak at such low points. Is there anyway to fix this issue or any technique to help? I get really annoyed when driving my car in the town and other drivers get angry

It's amazingly slow. Possibly even slower than this. If you want a Golf Mk4 with a petrol engine, get a 1.6 at least.
I've got the same model. It's so fucking noisy on highway, at 130kmp you have 3000-4000rpm on fith gear, noisy as fuck. Very very sluggish

I have 1.6 16v 206. I love it, easy accelerates to 180km/h and than slowly to 200km/h max.

What did I just watched? I drove car like this few times and it is slow but dude, just 140. It can go up to 180, it takes whole eternity but eventually it will get there.

Mh weird, probably the gearbox oil to change ! Because PSA gearboxes are strong as fuck, you would have tell me the first gear I would have tell you it's normal because it's a dumb mechanism included in the gearbox !
Mayuri Sama it’s all sorted her car was sat in the drive for a while and the gear had seized up but all working now. Thanks for the help 👍🏻

That's why if you want a 206 you get a 1.4 or anything bigger. It's pretty fun to drive overall.

@@MauriceNL1 Yeah one of my good friends has a 1.6 XS. I've driven it and for 108 bhp it's very very fun to drive. You even get half-bucket seats. Very comfortable.
