Carter’s story: Canadian surgery and audiology first at London Health Sciences Centre

Carter was just six years old when he became the first Canadian patient to receive a BONEBRIDGE 602 implant to aid his hearing.
The surgery was completed here at LHSC in 2020 and the BONEBRIDGE 602 was the only implant device of its kind available for paediatric patients at the time.
We’re pleased to share that Carter is now 10 years old and thriving.
