yeah I feel like Rockstar knew players will be annoyed to see Micha all the time in the second playthrough, so they made him disappear in the best part of the game
I must be the only one that liked Guarma, its definitely not the best but it was nice to go somewhere different for a small period of time. I also don't think Guarma outstayed its welcome. My worst camps are proghorn ranch or Beaver Hollow.
there are some other locations in the map that could have been excellent and much better options for the ga g to set up a camp. for example, instead of Beaver Hallow, The Loft in Ambarino could have been amazing to set up camp. or Chez Porter cabin, tej one you can have that's small side mission with Javier could have also been great for the gang to set camp. Beaver Hallow is definitely a strange place to have camp. I would have preferred if the gang actually stayed in Lakay as well. OR all the locations that I have mentioned right now should have been enemy gang camp in which the enemy AI always respawns from time to time. I feel like the game should have had more enemy AI gang hideous. in the epilogue when you play as John and explore Tall Trees, the Skinner Brothers should have had a gang hideout as well. hell in the epilogue I feel like even Colter or that dead mining place in which you first ever encounter Colm O'Driscoll could have been great places to have an enemy gang hideout that constantly respawn.
Clemens Point is the best camp and I will wholeheartedly die on this hill. Best missions in the game and the camp is full of life from sun up to sun down. Even has a unique Arthur campfire dialogue Clemens is peak RDR2 Imo
I agree with most of your tier list, espicially that you pay attention to not only the location, but to the overall vibe and missions, because all of these factors combined is what makes a camp better than another. I would personally put colter in F or at least D, other than that, all is kinda in their right spot.
I don’t use tonics when I play single player as a way to challenge myself. So, naturally, the only way I can heal is by eating and resting and even more eating. You can see where this is going. I was really enjoying this play through until i realized I had actually been over eating and now my Arthur is fat and dumpy like the guy on the thumbnail. I had to stop eating so much and start running everywhere instead of riding my horse. So, rdr2 is literally so realistic that I am actively trying to lose weight through diet and exercise. 😂
using tonics and medicine is realistic. lots of people used those tonics and we still use them today. the effects of the tonics are instant and this might the only thing that is "unrealistic". but this is a video game. not some simulation. constantly eating on the other hand is kinda useless because food doesn't heal anything. resting and sleeping are a much better alternative to regenerate your cores.
I like the Clements point the most. Horseshoes is ranked higer since its earlier in the story. Clements adds nice water, characters are known better by them, you have a boat, and somehow its always faster to get to there than during Horseshoes missions where you ALWAYS run the same road there somehow.
Horseshoe and Shady Belle would be my top two in my opinion Shady Belle is just nice to have a real like base and I enjoyed Saint Denis and such, plus I like how big shady belle is to the point parts of it stick out of the gun free zone so I enjoyed waiting for Micah to walk out of the gun free zone then throwing bombs and Molotovs trying to kill him, I think it’s more fun plus it’s like that middle point where everyone is pretty much alive except for Sean and people are starting to question Dutch but the gang is still strong together for the most part, although chapter 4 has the saddest deaths probably plus it leads into which I always trust to finish asap bc that island sucks.
I think the exact opposite. given the fact that the Pinkerton agents Miller and Ross visit the Dutch gang at Clemens Point, warning them they will be finished if they don't surrender, Dutch sends Arthur and John to take Shady Bell in order to have a new camp near Saint Denis and start Chapter 4. the problem is, Lemoyne is a pretty damn small state and the distance from Clemens Point to Shady Bell isn't that far. the Pinkertons should have found them. but plot armour makes the Pinkerton stupid. I would have preferred if Lakay was the main camp during Chapter 4. Lakay is also very close to Saint Denis, ideal because all the main story missions take place in Saint Denis. Lakay is also extremely well hidden in the swamps. very secluded. and the exact opposite side of the map. very far away from Clemens Point, Rhodes, Shady Belle, etc.places that the Pinkertons are searching the gang during Chapter 4. this would have made a much more logical sense to make Lakay an idea camp. a well hidden camp that would have helped the gang to not draw attention from the Pinkerton. unfortunately Shady Belle was the camp during Chapter 4. for good and bad reasons. I think it was a bad decision made by Rockstar. for the story it doesn't make much sense.
@@Cheez_DoodlezzI’d be threatened if I saw the dude that got a hole put in his head in front of my eyes walking around months later like it never happened
Lakay should have been the gang's main camp in chapter 4 because let's think about it logically. agent Miller and the Pinkertons do visit Clemens Point and after they talk with Dutch, Arthur and John have to go to Shady Belle and take it from Lemoyne Raiders. Shady Belle isn't that far away from Clemens Point. on the other hand, Lakay should have been perfect because the location is also very close the Saint Denis but most importantly, Lakay is very well hidden, secluded camp in deep swamps and also very far away from Clemens Point, Rhodes and Shady Belle. this means the Pinkertons would have lost the trace of Dutch's gang if Lakay was the camp. the only reason why the Pinkertons don't find Shady Belle is just stupid plot armour. I don't know. Lay for me could have been amazing to have as a good well established camp instead of being there for like 2 missions after Arthur come back from Guarma. wasted opportunity in my opinion. Rockstar mad want amazing game with RDR2 but they also had some bad decisions. like for example the unnecessary inclusion of New Austin that is only accessible in the epilogue as John but it makes zero sense whatever. because we already know from RDR1, John says he has never been in New Austin before RDR1. New Austin was only supposed to be for online multiplayer but for whatever reason it also got included in the singleplayer mode.
I disliked Shady Belle, because it was always boring to go at snails speed to your room to shave, sleep, change clothes lol. At least you could jump from that window out.
@@PreviouslyNotPossibleI heard RDR2 has a LOT of cut content (not just with guarma and Mexico. Hell, there was supposed to be a sea monster). Rockstar should defo re release the game with all the deleted stuff
Lakay could have had soo much gteat potential IF instea dof Shady Belle, the gang decided to make Lakay the camp during chapter 4. it would also made more logical sesne as well because tthe distance frim Clemens Point in whuch agent Miller visits Dutch and Shady Belle isn't that far. the Pinkertons shouz have found thr gang immediately. but Lakay would have been perfect because it is very well hidden in thr swamps, secluded location and also closee ti Saint Denis, which chapter 4 is all about
Soooo the later u go in the came the more Camps suck. lol the sense of community starts to dwindle, people start dying, life is becoming a bit too serious and dangerous for the gang.. it’s a sad progression:/
Horse shoe overlook : doesn't have Micah
yeah I feel like Rockstar knew players will be annoyed to see Micha all the time in the second playthrough, so they made him disappear in the best part of the game
Clemens also doesn't if you don't help him rob the stagecoach.

Can we talk a bit about how Bill gets attacked by a cougar 3:52?
And Sean is alive

Best Camp: Horseshoe
Worst Camp: Beaver Hollow
Beaver Hollow wasn't a bad camp, it's just that the vibe of it was depressing because the gang was going downhill

I loved Horseshoe overlook(mayby due to 2nd camp in game 1st after snowy mountains hell storms).
Thanks for video
thinking it through now imagine how mr Davies and all the pronghorn ranchers mustve felt after learning of John, his family, and Beecher's hope's fate

2- Beaver Hollow

4- Shady Bele

8- Lakay
9- Guarma
