- We took a quick stop at Schat’s bakery before going to death Valley the next day. it’s a wonderful bakery in Bishop California. It’s a great stop on your way to or through death Valley Mammoth Lakes or the Yosemite Valley. There’s many other outdoor attractions in the Bishop area if you have time it’s definitely worth it

Wow yummy ❤❤❤❤👍a very nice place👍👍
They’re good are all very good there
We bake our own bread at home but when in Bishop, we go for Schat's bread and bring back several loaves. Great bakery!
We love the place too we always stop every time we go through Bishop
How costly the 🍞 breads, lol 😂😂.
Enjoying watching movies.
About $7-10. Some of the cheese bread has more then 1/2 kilo of cheese 🧀
We stop here on the way to mammoth every year 🥰
Us too. It’s great. Love the cheese bread 🥖
I was looking at ice cream and I'm wanting some too. Just that is 4 am and I only eat lunch... then I have to wait some more time till I can enjoy some ice cream 😣.
I've never seen a tree like that.
Even that I couldn't taste anything I've enjoyed the video. Thanks
Everything in that store tasted so good. But nothing was very healthy. And that tree was so impressive and very strange. Big white stuff. I seen more trees like that in Vancouver. Thank you for watching.
I didn't know the kids opened more bakeries. I knew about this one and the one in Mammoth. That's some great informations. Thank you for sharing 👍😊
You’re welcome
I get fat just looking at all that bread. Nice vlog. Thumbs up!
We just got fat 😂
The bread look so yummy! Did you try the donuts? I enjoy your vlog. 👍
Yes we did we had a cinnamon twist donut it was delicious
In Bishop CA, Erick Schat’s Bakery is a Dutch bakery.
I want a loaf of the cheese bread now. 🤤😋. It’s been over 1 year since I have been to bishop, I hope to get there is summer. I was told there’s another bakery that is better I have to try for myself
It is a Dutch themed-bakery.
Cool video! What a great place to stop. I make campground and adventure videos if you want to check them out!
You got new friends from Las Vegas. Thank you for watching!
We had never heard of this bakery. I bet that place really does smell amazing! The desserts look delicious. Would love to stop off there for provisions on our way to the park you showed us for a picnic. Bishop, CA seems lovely. Thanks for taking us along!
Bishop California is an amazing city. it’s a great place to set up your home base to explore the east side of the Sierra Nevada‘s.
Haven’t been to Bishop since 98, three things I remember, Schat’s wonderful bakery, Mule days and Hundreds of very rude tourists.
We haven’t been there in quite a while. Need to go back been told there’s a better bakery in Bishop now.
@@TooMuchLuggage last time I was there, saw something that will never forget, fellow riding a mule backwards while the animal was trotting in reverse. “HaulingAss”
@NBZW 😆
I love the cheese bread there and the walnuts pull away bread. 😋 Enjoy!
That’s exactly what we got
Lot of history there!
Yes there is. So one of my favorite bakeries that I’ve been to the cheese bread is unbelievable.
All that bread 🤤🤤🤤
Totally agree🤤
The one in Mammoth Lakes is owned by his EX wife. If you'll notice, it doesn't say Eric Schatt's. There is a difference in quality.
We’ve heard about the drama. We’ve also heard there is a better bakery in Bishop. Is this true?
@@TooMuchLuggage we stopped going to Eric Schatt's Bakery in Bishop because it gets too crowded. Instead, we stop at the jerky shop at the north end of Bishop across from the Chevron station. Pricey but worth it.
@2-old-Forthischet that is a great place to get some jerky. Hopefully this winter I’ll get a chance to go snowboarding at June lake or Mammoth and try some new spots in Bishop on the way up the mountain
@@TooMuchLuggage we don't do winter sports but when in Mammoth, we visit a small hole in the wall called "All Thai'd Up" that's off the beaten path. If you like Thai food, it's really good. Don't let the "white" people in the front part fool you. The cook is authentic!
@2-old-Forthischet thank you for the suggestion
What next?
I think we’re going to post the second half of our Mexico vacation next
What are the kids bakeries called?
One of them is “shea schats “ in mammoth lakes
