As extreme as it may sound, every note and then a tarot deck enters my collection that blows my mind and changes the way I read on more than one card.
I’ve been reading for over 35 years now and I think I went through all the stages we all know so well… I’m a newbie so I don’t know anything - I’m still getting my way around tarot but I’m making progress - I’m an expert, don’t tell me how to read - Oh, I’ve never seen that card depicted like this before…. - Ok, forget everything I know, let’s start from scratch 🤣🤣
I think that tarot readers need to remain humble no matter how much we know, because a tarot deck starts from a well known system and symbology, but then morphs into something else depending on the intention of the creator and as such is always evolving.
After this deck, the Mio Im Tarot, I will never look at the Lovers card, the 6 of swords and the 3 of cups the same way!

The temperance card is so interesting to me it seems as if the figure is only half skeleton and half human on either side of the doorframe

Hi Silvia! Really Really Good! I knew your deep dive WOULD be!! So I am decided; getting the deck after all! Couple of comments. The six of wands grabbed me as, you won a victory but so what ~ you've got the head of a dead animal on your wall. As if, all victories are temporary and really don't mean much on this side of the curtain. Also, on Queen of Swords ~ my brain jumped immediately to the phrase, "takes no prisoners," so the item at the base of the neck looks like the hilt of a sword to me. I hope you do more of these Video Guidebooks for Decks With No Guidebooks That Really Need One ~ like the Raincoast Tarot and I'm sure you can think of others!!
Yes, now that you mention it the strange object I couldn’t identify on the Queen of Swords looks like the handle of a sword and it makes perfect sense! And that’s an excellent view on the six of Wands too and I tend to see it that way too 🥰

Thank you 🙏❤️ You know, at the beginning the task of unraveling the intricacies of these cards without a guidebook made me want to put away the deck. Then I thought that since there was no guidebook I couldn’t make any mistakes! The creator wants us to apply our own views and experiences to the deck so if I see a bond that transcends life in the Lover card, people can disagree of course, but they can’t say it’s wrong. That was liberating! I really loved the fact that this deck gave me this possibility ❤️
