I’m actually on my second playthrough of the game in Ultra Hard and the damage you take it’s ridiculous. You can strip all parts of a machine and the bastard won’t die even while using its weakness. And that’s with all the best gear and weapons fully upgraded.
Ultra hard - where every machine encounter is basically a boss fight.

Ah yes ultra hard difficulty meaning ultra sponge enemies
On zero dawn yes but in forbidden west they expand on it a lot you do 70% damage while enemy’s do 200% damage, enemies have greater perception ranges etc.
This game is hands down one of, if not THE BEST I’ve ever experienced and 100% completed. The dlc is absolutely stunning and there’s soooo much to do in the base game
Im about to buy horizon zero dawn since it’s on sale for 12$ on steam if I like it I’m buying forbidden west, the game looks fun tho

@@joser7589 horizon forbidden west takes everything great from zero dawn and improves almost every aspect of it in my opinion.
Combat, weapons, armor, quests, etc.
the graphics improvement is insane as well. When I first got the game I was constantly just looking around the areas I was in because it’s SOOOO gorgeous. They Fr cooked with forbidden west and it’s DLC is great too.

I'm sorry but I will not play Horizon forbidden West on Ultra hard no thanks I only care about the story so I always choose the easiest difficulty simply because I just want to experience the story I do not have the time to freaking rage quit and die so many damn times Buffalo who play on Ultra hard I have nothing but respect for them they have a strong will to conquer the story mode on Ultra hard
Easy is too easy and make the game feel boring so I usually go normal and if that’s too easy I go hard
I also did what you did and it has become one of the hardest games I’ve ever played honestly
took me more than 150hrs, I think, playing on this mode as a first playthrough. It was tough! I also did a lot of sight seeing, but majority of those hours were leveling and getting the snot beat out of me 10 times before advancing haha

I played on normal and fighting the dlc boss had me sweating for real. I was sure I was going to die and have to start again, luckily I survived and managed to beat it
On very hard wasnt that hard sometimes it had me chocking but mostly the end was easy
I’m so happy for the story mode. I’m definitely trash at video games.

I like playing on the hardest difficulty, especially when I'm using mods it kinda balances out the game, not a ton, but it makes it more fun

Sometimes a dev team does a thing and some time after the thing I always get the thought of what a fuck up on their half. I felt that way after burning shores.
I’m playing on ultra hard and it’s my first run through of the game and I don’t feel like restarting the entire game just to get any difficulty.
lol, i maxed my gear before ending story on normal difficulty, then i tried ultra hard and was a piece of cake.
This sounded like a "I dont like the game but its sponsored vid so better read the script and pretend i do"

Playing in ultra hard too. It's annoying but it's fun it would force you to do unconventional strategy to kill those machines.
I was done with game before the dlc and then new game plus till the first new clan encounter anyway I did it on new game plus ultra hard the main game alone was hard even with all legendary‘s that was a really realistic experience and the DLC was WOW!!!
Been playing Very Hard difficulty with zero HUD and honestly I think Ultra Hard won't be too much of a step up from there. I mean I already don't see enemy health bars or awareness indicators. It's genuinely a fun challenge
