I can understand Leo's personality . But I love Baji Quan for being a straightforward yet direct straight fighting style that focuses on power

he steps forward so fast with every hit and then freezes between them, so you can't even tell was it a shoulder or elbow or something else
i prefer feng's swings with much more elegant animations and variety
and bryan for powerful looking stuff
Cause Leo doesn’t look strong while using it. The shoulder hit has to look like it could destroy mountains (exactly as Feng does it with huge impact), Leo’s version seems more of a pillow hit

As for the Claw gun or whatever it's called in the Rage Art, it's because Leo's dad was an explorer.

To me, from this trailer they want leo to fill the awkward teen role, and he does much better than in the past (because i saw him as just a random guy).
Is surely to consider that that's not enough to make him somewhat more recognizable, but it's an improvement.
A shy teen who have powerups but still is akward is better than spiderman basic plot to me, where he gain power and he is the most popular after. At least he is confident to fight back
Leo looks strong like he was in 7. Leo is just a kid who is trying to get revenge on Kazuya. The grapple gun is a reference to his dad who was a famous archaeologist and spelunker.
His rage art is a direct reference to another fighting game character. I forgot the name but I think it's from KOF. Its not creative at all it's basically a copy and paste with different angles.

i dont care about leo as a character but that fighting style is cool, unique and has very satisfying and hefty hits, thats why i prefer him over characters like miguel or whatever who didnt make it. reminds me of akira from virtua fighter but its also a bit similiar to feng.
Started playing in Tekken 7 and main Leo, I love his new rage art! I don't really get the grappling hook, but the last bit is great. It's like a cute character trying to be badass, which is exactly what's happening so it's a fantastic fit for Leo imo.
Regarding his moves he did get few new stance transitions that look really fun to play around with and a ton of his counterhits now directly lead into heat so that's gonna be fun too. Overall, I'm super hyped to play Leo in T8 and can't wait :D

I liked the part where Leo said “Get over here” with the grapple hook in German. It gives Leo a much needed personality.

I think the camera effects for Leo’s rage art are great. The lighting on the final hit too but, what happens is lackluster.

Leo's only saving grace is being baji quan the character, which is the only reason i might play them. I love that fighting style. The character itself though... yikes. SO fucking bland.

ws4,1+2 needs a perfect distance to wall to be a splat, its a lucky splat for every leo player, but we don't expect it too much. D2 CH is a launcher now, instead of a free stomp, definitely a buff. 11f WS4, 1+2 as heat engager is definitely a buff, There no guarantee on old ws4,1+2 knockdown because it knocks too far. And now it looks like WS4 is now safe. Ayorichie loves these T8 updates.

The reason reinas trailer looked better is cause they made it look that way, the camera is way better as is the stage. Her rage art is as pathetic as leos, she does a few punches a stomp and the punches kazuya on the ground and we see a heihachi atomic bomb which is 99% of the rage art hype. Go watch it without the heihachi bomb.
Leos style is bad azz. My 2nd main as of now until bob or josie/bruce come back by leos fighting style is pure tekken.. honestly if u youtube baji quan it may help to change your scope of this character..
