I like most of mainman's YT videos, but he's such a childish guy for someone nearing his 40s. 90% of his "jokes" is about c0ck (haha gay funny), calling people he doesn't like virgin, loser, etc. and his disdain for "waifu" characters just reminds me of a teenager coping with his insecurities. lol He's also very ignorant about characters that's not Kazuya, Bryan, or Paul but pretends to be an expert at the game and he has a history of calling characters BS or carried purely out of salt when outplayed by strangers in ranked.
He's such a childish and salty guy for someone nearing his 40's and that turns a lot of people away. I do like him but I often get second hand embarrassment watching his streams.
I guess plus moves on hit with stance cancel, make them respect you with 1,1 after in order to mix them up with throw or low next time, and if its on block cancel stance only (seems you can cancel your stance with df then back to cancel the dash)
just something I noticed today, you don't need to input qcf 1 rapidly (for the blue sparks) at the wall combo on the third punch of the gotokai rampage combo. Start the motion when the 2 punch connects and go along with the animation slowly, time it correctly and works perfectly fine
For me currently learning the main dude and a first time Mishima pick. Ending a combo with the jumping kick into lightning slam followed with ground slam into that Shockwave is so satisfying when you get into heat. And the install is INSANITY, one time use but god does it close out a game in style
Just getting back into Tekken for Heihachi and you say you’re doing a guide for him and guides on how to beat every character in the game? Where do you live so I can kiss you

His b4 is one of the best animations in the game in regards to martial arts accuracy, exactly how a kickboxer throws a liver kick, its pristine.

I thought that at first but you can learn the movesets first before learning combos. The animations are enough to get what the character is doing.
Hes literally calling out the moves step by step.
He literally says the notation. If you don’t understand notation you have bigger fish to try than learning combos
Some people actually have trouble keeping up with the on screen inputs because it moves too quickly. Thankfully he does a step by step
