You are one of the best teachers in the world. The word "teacher" has been thrown around a lot lately but few stand to define the name. I watched most of your videos and still on course on watching the rest. There is not a person in the world who wouldnt understand a concept that you teach. I now know a lot about the PC Boot process, File system and partitions. But the only concern I had was that most videos were not complete. Anyway please keep up the good work
Yeaaah I found it weird too that boot files would be in the system partition and system files would be in the boot partition, bad naming :D A really good lecture, I'm learning to make Windows programs in C++, but I am watching this playlist to learn about the Windows OS itself first. Thanks!
As we say in Boston, Lowell Vanderpool is wicked smaht. When he explains something he gets right to the point so that you walk away with the knowledge he is conveying to you. I have yet to see a book or video that explains the boot process and partitioning procedure as clearly as Lowell Vanderpool does. I challenge all those high priced technical schools to do as well as he does.

I am running Windows 10 on my external HDD and My system and Boot partition are same thatt is C:\ drive.
Does it still use .cab files?
