King Kong. They've always been portrayed as villains because they are bigger than humans, and that is scary. Even Donkey Kong started off that way. They really aren't aggressive as long as you don't look at them in the eye or approach their families, but it is now just an outdated movie trope.
Yeah I mean I’d feel safer around a Gorilla than a chimpanzee. Those sumbiches are crazy and don’t attack to kill but to maim they will attack anything hanging on your body, fingers, genitalia and face. plus they are so much stronger than humans that you may as well be fighting against a gorilla but gorillas seem a lot more chill long as you’re not looking them in the eye Or encroaching on their territory

Or at least felt like he couldn’t redeem himself fully. So this was his way of making peace before he died

These are some of the best movies I’ve ever seen, I am so stoked for ‘Kingdom’… It is such a heart touching, sad and powerful scene for Red to sacrifice himself to save Caesar’s short life, but enough to destroy the compound.

The best trilogy of any of the apes series.... acting was outstanding, storyline was inspired from start to finish, special effects were awesome without being overdone. You fell in love with the characters (especially Ceaser), broke my heart when he died at the end....loved it all❤
This movie should have been best picture not that it really matters😅 but this movie I see as a masterpiece in modern filmmaking it’s beautiful, dark and emotional with so much depth and deep storytelling. It’s a brilliant conclusion to the trilogy. We just saw Kingdom the other night it’s really good however it never went as expansive and emotionally impactful as this film. Still though an amazing franchise I’m excited for the future
That whole scene I thought they were setting up him shooting the gas tanks himself, sacrificing himself to blow up the soldiers. Would’ve been a slightly better send off for his character I think.
True but there was no point he wouldn’t be accepted by the apes anymore despite saving Ceasar they were against him since the Koba era there’s only one way and it’s the way he went out
He basically decided for himself he wasn’t worth saving so he made peace by saving Caesar and showed he cared for the apes but didn’t believe the other apes wouldn’t accept him since he assisted in their slavery so he let himself die
I find it hilarious that a military base is not only that explosive, but also built in spot where a single avalanche could wipe out the entire place and everyone near it. Not only that, but it only took one grenade, even though the whole base was being bombarded with missiles.
I feel like is caesar talked about his wound there could have been a chance of survival i understand why he kept his yapper shut because they have peace and his son and wife died and he knows Maurice(great Development btw) or rocket would take care of caesars baby but still im gonna miss caesar
I still can't understand why Koba's Ape followers (who hated humans more than anybody) would willingly work with humans to kill Cesar. Like theyre THAT upset that Cesar killed a rampaging Koba?
