With your exact recommended master block list, it'd be most efficient to set up the block list in this order: 1. Cervus 2. Ornus 3. Gilman 4. Aco/Teco 5. Aco/Teco The only real major efficiency gain is from doing gilman before aco/teco, since you'd have 3 task options to be shooting for instead of just 1. That would make getting gilman's block set up a 1/8.67 chance rather than a 1/24 chance if you do him last.
I don't know if you are aware of this but moonlight moths can be released from a jar for a guaranteed 22 prayer points or combined with a hunter meat like larupia, fox or other meat to get a 2 dose prayer mix that restores a total of 44 prayer. These are crazy easy and cheap budget prayer pots especially for ironmen. I use them on my main for afk slayer due to how cheap they are on the ge.
They are useful if you don’t have good access to ppots yet! Personally I think they make the tasks too slow so I don’t hunt/bank them, but it’s an option for sure :)

Before getting the kit then outfit you want to cycle faster tasks no matter what, the outfit is very strong, it is a huge payoff(more catches, more chances to get the rumor item and 10% pity gain) which gives me 15-20% faster completions on average, in terms of proportions it is better than blacksmithing outfit(which saves tics and give xp). imho red chins are ban if you do not have access to special areas for them, it's not a bad task xp wise, it's chins it's always a solid activity but if you want to cycle rumors for bones/outfit pieces and so on it's the absolute worst, and it's true for any box trapping. Feldip area is botted and spawns suck. All the salamander tasks are ok, red and swamp on require a bit of walking and ardougne cloack/ectovial, orange salamanders are goated, even if you go in nardah it is quick enough so you do not even need waterskins. Do not bother doing hunter without fairy rings. About sunlight antelope, imho this task is very good, it's solid gp, the spawns are great and it is almost 0 walking, not joking it takes me on average as much time doing that as dashing kebits. For novice/adept content, all the butterflies suck very hard / are almost unbearable, starting from sunlight moth they become very good because of the great density, bring an inventory of jars for moonlight moths.
Been doing 4 tasks since the update not even realizing you could block red chins lol. I'm averaging 220k+/hr with chins/herbi/tecu/kebbit post 99 though. Not sure if its worth blocking chins or not.
for my snowflakey ironman, I actually catch the moonlight mothd with jars and use the low level hunter meat on them to get 2 dose pseudo prayer pots, 22 prayer points per dose. so, there is some potential for resources there

They are essentially a free block, since Expert hunters can’t assign the other creatures. Although good xp and gp, chins are a very slow task, meaning you complete less rumours per hour and gain overall less xp. But if you don’t mind them and want to go for the chin pet, by all means!
Im a new iron, 54 hunter right now, but low combat and low other skils, should i do rumors on 57 or wait to level other skils? Im doing just maple birdhouses when i leave/join the game for now.
If you have Fairy rings and Ardy cape 1 unlocked, adept rumours at 57 are a fine choice! But the xp and rewards really ramp up at expert and master rumours, so the choice is yours :)

Each master stores one rumour. When switching masters they’ll say ”Would you like to hunt for me instead”, to which you just say yes, you won’t lose your previous rumour. You can go back to the previous master and check.
They’re ok if you’re not going for 91 for Moonlight anytime soon, but after that Moonlight is just better. Sunfire shards are best gotten from the Colosseum, or you can just hunt the antelopes for a while without rumours if you need some.
When a huntermaster assigns you a creature, that creature can’t be assigned by anyone else until you complete the task and is thus ”blocked”. So you go around getting the tasks assigned to you from all the different masters but don’t complete the tasks.
The fact you have 181 rumors and no hunter gear is so sad. I feel like skill armor shouldn't be a random drop. They need to change it somehow by adding a currency to buy it like most other skilling outfits.

If youre low on energy while hunting them just grab a couple for prayer points and use vile vigour on arceus book to restore energy

You can also not start Eagle's Peak quest for new accounts to block Chins

U fortunately you need to do eagle's peak to unlock master rumors, but that would work for expert rumors!

Thanks! Adept is ok if you have fairy rings and a decent tele (ardy cloak 1) unlocked, but Experts are where the xp really ramps up.

How are you getting 32K prayer XP from 2200 bone shards? I thought it was 5 xp per shard?
6 xp per shard when using Sunfire wines, and the sun-kissed bones provide a lot of shards in addition to those 2200.

You probably missed something, you shouldn’t block orange salamanders at all if doing masters. Check again from the video, around 1 minute mark

It's because you need to have them empty to take the falcon for kebbit hunting.

Depend on if you have access to Necropolis or not, Aco is better if you have access due to the great orange salamander spot there

got 4 sets of the gear by 569 rumors
I'm so so sorry for all of your guys' pain. I got full outfit, huntsmans kit, and enhanced whistle at 78 rumors. ~10 novice ~58 adept ~ 10 expert
