Anyone upset at me not including Kebbit swapping: 1) Jagex just patched it. I was going to include it in the 1-99 Hunter video. 2) This is/was to give a general idea of ALL rumours. I was unaware of the Kebbit method since I (wrongly) assumed Masters was the way to go. Will do more testing for the 1-99 Hunter guide and see if Experts are still worth it without Kebbit swap
I am very mad because i grinded 2 weeks expert rumours and got 1200 kc and still dosent got pet and today kebbit method was patched, all my work goes to toilet. Going back to masters atm 1400~ ish kc.
A good way to cheese razor backed kebbits is to bring extra rings of persuit and keep world hopping and checking burrows until it procs. You can do this with just 2 worlds

Video was very useful thanks only just getting round to trying rumours out for the first time, thing I got from the ultimate cc when discussing the fact kebbits were outwitting me, was that there is a kebbit runelite plugin that makes hunting razor-backed kebbits like herbiboar where you just click where it says to.. makes it much better.

Came here to check, so it's really too bad that he still didn't include it. Talking about blocking creatures but then not how to kebbit skip is just entirely missing the best part about it.
Let me tear you a new one. No mention of the Kebbit skipping trick? Effectively turning all Kebbits into spotted kebbits makes them so much more bearable. You also missed Kebos Woodland (West of the WC Guild) for grey chins, and north of Priff for red chins. And if you have 85+ Farming, there is a singular black warlock that chills out behind the fruit tree patch there you can spawn easily. if you are looking for most rumors/hr, with 91+ Hunter, only doing Teco rumors is so much faster than masters tier. With blocks in grey and red chins, sunlight antelope, and saber tooth kyatts, with spotted kebbits for the kebbit swap, you can zip through all those tasks quickly. You can always swap out the red chin block for red sally, but chin tasks typically take longer overall, even with tick manipulation. Especially if you go dry and have to hit the pity rate.
Favourite rumours have to be any of the Falconry Kebbits (Spotted, Dark, Dashing) - so quick and easy. Worst definitely Razor-Backed Kebbits because tracking is pure pain - Deadfall rumours are slow as well but at least they don't require much attention. Very glad I can skip them easily by keeping a Spotted Kebbit rumour on another Hunter. RSN: Regist4
I had a LOT of fun doing the deadfall traps at work when Varlamore released. I think they could maybe add a blocklist feature, but I like tasks like that. Click, get a drink of water, click, etc.
Would LOVE to enter the bond giveaway! My favorite assignment so far is Sunlight Antelope because I just unlocked it and it also helped with Prayer a lot due to the Splinters
An important extra trick is that all Kebbits drop the same item, this means you can save a dark kebbit task on one hunter and whenever you get another kebbit task you swap to the dark kebbit one, get the tuft, then go back to the main task and then hand in the tuft for that. This means you lock out every other kebbit task with the much faster dark kebbit one.
Two things about the razor backed kebbits, they really aren’t as bad as you think. 1) If your ring of pursuit does not trigger, just world hop and try again. Much faster than the normal method. 2) If you don’t want to use rings of pursuit, you can look up a “node map” for the kebbits trails and the path they follow. It’s very easy once you get some good tiles marked.
my biggest issue as an ironman is run energy. im capping at like 80k xp an hour depending on the task at level 75. Wondering if it is better to wear full graceful instead of hunter outfit as the run energy may be more important than better catch rate. thoughts?
You want one of the hunters to have a spotted kebbit task and if you get razor backed kebbits you switch to the spotted kebbit one get the fur and switch back to razor back since its the same item that way you can complete all Kebbit tasks with falconry
Nieve Rule 34 in the tabs XD. I might finally start training hunter this way, gotten up to 63 doing just birdhouses, but might time to actually do the skill.
if a ironman then id recommend doing them until 75 as a set goal, since the new moonlight moths when mixed with raw hunter meat is basically a 2 dose pray pot (well always 22 prayer points but still) also 74 hunter you can do ninja implings and going for 75 should easily get you to 50 on the total rumours done requirement to cook most the new hunter meat.
Hey this has nothing to do with this video which is a great one as well btw :) But if you don’t have it already, how about a „tutorial“ for the „daily“ stuff you can do? For example collecting battlestaves, ToG, herb and tree runs, bird house runs. Just everything from level to level, what you can do, if you should do them and how?

Lol u deffo had enough of hunting. Mang i gotchuu on more. Check it: the 3 rumours you mentioned are my faves. Foxes for crafting xp in addition to Antelopes for alchable moneys when u craft big meat pouches.. also splinters. Also that cbow thooo. I have ourania tele which teles u right in front of spaced out traps (which are absolutely fine to use but still are slower than up the hill).. and i have stamina pool in house. Tracking kebbits is my only true block but thats cause the terrain is often so inefficient and slow.. funnily, razor backed kebbits are def the easiest of all the tracking animals due to the efficiency of the terrain setup. Try bottomest corner hole by sw end of falconry fence and stick to that one to get a better, more consistent, but often confusing setup. Also fun fact, they used to be immediately catchable at 3 tracks detected but this seems to have been changed so its possible you need to find less or more tracks (this killed the activity for me where i used to enjoy it). Chinchompas are a horrible rumour. So slow.. seems to have been balanced around tick manipulation and impressive god hand luck. Personally have more fun doing dead fall. Take secondary trap when u do both of these. Catch butterflies when your out catching chinchompas. Catch birds when youre out catching deadfall kebbits. Catch imps when youre catching pyre foxes (spawn just nw of traps). Logs? Bring a log basket but only if attached to forestry kit, so you can use rations. Twitchers gloves, rabbits foot necklace, and kandarin head gear switch, when youre chopping trees for best experience and not experience. If you dont have sturdy harness dont bother with basket, chop the tree with headgear during your downtime. Finally, one of the few qol improvements to rumours revolve around a mechanic known on the wiki as a "pity" chance. Its like when you get vorkaths head at 50 kills because cpu rng can indeed be absolute bs sometimes and we all recognized this for decades but someone dropped jagex on their head recently so. Should mean u wont suffer so much during warlock rumours anymore :D Edit: Also bank all your moths/butterflies. Mix em with hunter meats to create healer supplies. Very useful.
@KaozOSRS I guess if you're rushing through contracts, for me the top end with the 3 hunter spots is real nice for red sals, 3 spots close together and for foxes, take fletching/alchs and you'll have downtime to do a secondary skill while you wait (or snow kebbits)
