Matzo Crack (toffee) Passover Dessert

MATZO CRACK INGREDIENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS:
Ingredients:
As much matzo as you can fit on a sheet pan (or I alternatively used the Matzo Project Matzo crackers)
2 sticks of butter (1 cup)
1 cup brown sugar (I like to mix light and dark for a rich matzo toffee taste)
1 bag of chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350
Lay matzo on baking sheet
Combine butter and sugar in a sauce pan.
Bring to a boil
Cook until the matzo toffee is foamy - about 3 mintues
Pour and spread the toffee over matzo until covered
Bake in the oven until it looks like the 6th plague (boils, ew)
While it’s hot, scatter the chocolate over the top and then spread once it’s melty
When it’s still hot, jazz it up with toppings
This Passover dessert [that we love to call "matzo crack"] is also referred to as "matzo brittle" or "matzo toffee".

Lol I love that y'all call it crack too 🤣 the Latter Day Saints also have something we call "Mormon crack". A friend made it recently and it's not exactly sweet chex mix but it's a similar concept, different dry cereal haha
