03:19 You just can't upgrade in the first build phase. The ammount of rebuilding in-wave is great ^^ I watch other creators and they never try to save their build by simply building more... instead they always resort to hero damage which doesn't work. More towers are better ^^

not trying to back seat but strength drain aura with the ensnare will massively reduce the amount of damage that your towers take. thought id mention it because they will make your progression much smoother
I actually didn’t know about Nessie before your video series. Of course it was pretty easy to obtain at my point in the game, but I still think it’s such a neat reward. So glad we made it to 50! Here is to 50 more.
Make sure to utilize minion units, good job at using the auras- they will continue to be good. But yeah you’ll want to use minion units; the Summoner has its own units that other defenses don’t affect, so you are only losing out on your defenses. Love this game man and love to see it getting love ❤

That video was a ride, the story in finally obtaining a nessie has come to an end. but now you need one for each hero :3 There's 128 different colours of nessie, I have a good 95 of them sitting on my tavern floor. When they were first added to the game it was a fun grind ^^ (especially since they're cute) GGs
Love this series. My 2 most played games are DD & Terraria at 2k hours each, so imagine my surprise yesterday at the new series. A few things if you’re looking to speed up your progress: 1. Your stats are awful low, top end godly gear can hit high 500 in tower or hero stats. Insane HC campaign + glitterhelm can give pretty good boost 2. Matching armor = bonus, starting at godly tier (20% I believe?) then 30%+ mythical and beyond 3. There are stats more important than others. i.e for a tower squire, tower attack rate and damage are more worth it than range and health. For monk, tower radius and health are more important. 4. Using blockade towers is unnecessary once you have a aura monk and summoner. Ensnare + strength drain then using summoner units as self-healing walls negates the need for blockades, bouncers, slices, etc. 5. Series EV buff beam is cracked, absolutely janky. Good luck my boy, this game is a trip to solo 100%

I would advise to think of the comments as a reference for tips, simply some things to try. For example, you now realize how useful strength drain auras are after seeing them in action, but there are still many combinations to try when they are combined with other towers. Are they more useful than ensure auras? Than electric auras? Is a combination of ensnare, electric, and strength drain good on every map? Is a combination of ensnare and strength drain better than a combination of ensnare and electric? big W man, one litle trick can change the gameplay!. I suggest you can explore the mechanics behind the monk by reading the wiki if you dont want to feel get baby sit by the comments and find it by yourself. It will help you do nightmare difficulty.
Really awesome episode. I am so suprised I was able to get this pet but it is great! Albeit I devided to start and playyhrough with the hermit which seems pretty op ngl
Also, something I found useful is upgrading elemental damage on my builder units. It upgrades fast so you can still devote levels to stats, and it does the same amount regardless of your hero damage. Of course, some people are immune, but a majority of them will be swiftly destroyed. Ogres are also never immune to elemental damage outside of nightmare, so you can kill them efficiently as well.
This is my first time watching so I am not sure if you have bought any DLC, but if you have, use the boost beam from EV. It can double your damage on towers boost aura suze by 50% or more, decrease firing delay by A LOT. It is better ti boost beam a few towers then to place a bunch of stuff

Its indeed bittersweet. The strength drain is so overpowered its crazy. Though the health loss on the strength drain balances it out a bit. i had runs where the strength drain fell off and i had a buff beam up which got removed as well due to the strength drain falling off. when that happens there is like nothing you can do and everything will go south real fast. so keep an eye on the health of that strength drain and most runs should be fine. Congratz on the nessie pet btw. Honestly i never knew the stats on that one. its way better then i assumed it wouldve been on easy mode. I kinda feel dumb not going for that pet. wouldve saved me alot of problems since i was walking around with 80 tower stat giraffe's for like 3 to 4 days 😅
Usually the health doesn't matter as tower boost can keep it up constantly. Except for farming armor ofc, in which case too low hp might pose an issue, but nothing some extra flash heals can't solve.
@@slenderman4788 Thats true. I had a summoner purely focused on flashheal. It can be a livesaver. However, im lazy and i prefer afk runs so currently im building my monk with also tower hp in mind next to tower range and try to not let my aura's overlap spawnpoints which i think is the main culprit to losing alot of hp on my aura's. Also f shamans. 😅 Other then that i usually run a dps jester for fortuna to keep defences up and % kill.

I will say though you gotta place your wall type defenses fyrther away from you towers because the mobs that can do aoe damage are just hitting your towers behind the walls which defeats the purpose of the towers
yoo ggs on the nessie :P glad the grind and losses was worth it, if u ever gonna grind more nessies for ur other builders having minions aswell would also gain u alot more dps to make it feel safer, i enjoyed this 1 hour long vid with some snacks cant wait for next upload

Strength drain auras are also very good since they decrease the amount of damage defenses take. Also, they decrease the damage taken from the crystal!

How do you get accessories?
I think most of his are rewards for clearing maps. I always farmed them on lab assault but I think newer maps drop some good ones too.
his bracers and Horns on his squire are from main campaign bosses, his mask was a random drop, I don't remember where from.
