You can move towers with ability 1 from Jester, make sure it had minus tower range and you can move stuff even closer to crystal, however don’t recommend doing that with mage towers, maybe something like traps

If you beat crystalline dimension on nightmare you get alot more inventory space

Do it and take your time on every progression point

Tinkerers lab is the most efficient way to get exp in the game, however the most would likely be omenak on ruthless, but tinkerers is best so I hope this helped! I’m a big fan pat!

I am doing a playthrough of DD without using EV or Summoner, and I'm doing pretty well. If you ever want to use whatever you want for really hard maps, I think it's possible. SO CLOSE TO WINNING!!

There is an active hero buff in DD1, I read it on the wiki once, cant remember the % tho.

Might be worth adding spider minions to the build, as webbed enemies take double damage, which would help with the mini-ogres. Physical beams may also help in keeping ogres away from the LTs and cores. Also yeah, tink's lab is probably the map with the most miserable performance. Wave 15 in another person's lobby is usually unplayable. 100% confident you can clear this map, just gotta be aware of the diff spike on the last wave.

one single upgrade on archers is basically nothing, max upgrade your buff beams first, nothing else should be upgraded at all before buff beams 99% of the time

campaigns will almost never drop anything above mythical, survival is where you get higher qualities edit: at least not floor drops, but end of map rewards are different ;)

GGs Well Played You're definitely capable of doing the map... and it's kinda a big deal if you do. The weapons rewarded can be really good even in the endgame.

Fun fact! I. The overlord mode, on the summoner, you can open the map and click anywhere to move the camera there instantly!

Unlucky on the last wave but it’s great to see the progress you made, when building there was points with minions you done what I was hoping you would. I’d say focus on building a few more spiders to help increase the damage you do and you might be a little better off. It is trial and error of knowing where to point your DST towers and it’ll come with time but it’s incredible the progress you’ve made and was a fun watch. Keep up the work pat you’re doing great and the work you have done for the community is great in just reviving the nostalgia that has been lost a little for me and some others

The ogres target your lighting towers instead of your crystal, but because you build you lighting towers so close to the crystal the ogres accidentally hit it simultaneously while hitting the lightning towers

ahh, I miss the Xbox survival 10-hour grind. Now, waves have like 2-4K max enemies on 4 player nightmare, when deeper well survival used to have 10K enemies 1 player with only 5 spawns. Magus quarters got up to 26K 2 player.

The reason the minions are changing every wave is because of the mix mode setting.

Retro you should get Eternal defender achiviement, is pretty fun to do and you get cheater accesories as a reward.

It is POSSIBLE I MUST EMPHASIZE POSSIBLE to break 10k on a single stat. My countess hit 8k tower damage years ago so naturally builds don't like squire any more. The rest of my builders are in the 6k range on their primary focused stat usually attack. Doing so has taken me over 4000 hours. In spite of grinding for thousands of hours most of my best gear was straight up given to me . Others can hit these stats in a couple hundred hours. RNG is BRUTAL! Your power goal should be whatever it takes to get the job done without driving yourself nuts. Lower stats can actually be more fun since it encourages you to get creative and pay continuous attention to what you're doing.

like clobzz said, i think you're maybe 20~30% of the way to endgame. game gets a LOT harder, especially in survival for later maps along with the maps that require dps characters.

Pretty sure 10K per stat is the limit. Thought for a while it would be something like 9999, but it caps at 10K.

it would be really funny for you to see endgame stats when you think 5-6k is the max😂 edit: and no, i dont think youre even halfway to endgame content ;)

The most stats I've seen someone reach in a single stat is about 9500 with an apprentice and 10k with a series EV I've reached 7k in about 200 hours from a fresh start. It slows right down after 6k, haha

Salutations! I started playing DD1 like a couple weeks ago, just cleared lab assault on Insane Hardcore for the first time and am learning a bunch. This was an interesting video to stumble across.

You could gear your squire in dps gear and bust some heads with him. Gives you the chance to level him and have some fun to boot.

An upgrade aura Adept with a genie has made my alt grinding much faster. Depending on my mood, I either bring out a 4th alt after upgrading everything, or I just run around on my barb and face roll.

So just my opinion and just needed to share. I understand the analogy you used comparing to concerts. I'm a bit biased as I'm a very active concert goer with big and small shows. Some of my favorite shows ever were from people I've never even heard of before just a random opener. That created amazing memories and experiences. If you are a big music enjoyer you are missing out because of arbitrary boxes that need to be checked. Sometimes trying to fabricate the "perfect" memory you end up missing out experiences beyond expectations. Just a fan of the rambling survival episode.

i wish ps3 cross platform :l i spent like 5 years on ps3 DD1 and got the DLCs. i did got PC version but i quit that cause i didn't want to start over again :l also in ps3 i remember using a bluetooth mic and helping players farm the DLC insane weapons. the memories Dx

The height enabled "god mode" is intentional and you can unlock it pretty easily by riding on the back of a pterodactyl. I discovered this as a kid and had a blast just trying to get the "god mode" activated!

When I was like 5 I wanted nothing more than to play this game

I miss brand games like this sometimes you get some real unintentional gems

Lover's Paradise gives a good amount of exp on nightmare, doing that on survival is a good easy way to level up your characters. full run got me 320m exp and only takes about 40mins

Pat I'm glad you made the DD series and it revitalized the game for me and I started on PC for the first time. Embarrassing amount of hours on console. I understand stepping away this game has a grind. Don't burn out! I'll put in my selfish request, and it's playing the Ratchet and Clank series. Either way I'm happy to see what's coming out!
