Great video as always pat! It’s great to see your progression over the past few episodes after the ‘setback’ of moraggo desert, you’ve bounced back well and you’re doing great. Now you’re implementing a tower boost monk id recommend getting a genie to be able to farm mana with alt fire from a distance and it’ll help you die less to those one shots. Keep up the good work man!
You can use your tower boost monk as a afk character during maps. Give it a genie place the character where some enemies are activate tower boost start shooting and while shooting switch the character you control. Your monk will continue to shoot and generate mana and keep on tower boosting while you play your other character
all monster drops are dependent on what heroes are on the map at that time. if you want to farm weapons you need to have only that hero or heroes that share weapons out . if you want to farm Armour you can play the maps with Summoner Only and you will drop only armour since he cant equip any weapon. p.s. Love your Series you got me into DD after 12 again !
at 24:20 when you're talking about how long survivals take, it counts on multiple factors. For every additional character you add up to 4, there are more monsters and thus the survival takes longer, iirc 2 characters for survival is the most optimal for time per gear drops. Another factor is build, in the end game most builds rely on mainly lightning towers, as they chain everything in the map killing stuff asap, the speed at which your towers actually clear the map is a huge factor of how fast you're actually going to clear to survival. Also builds that rely on mostly minions to clear chunks of the map are notoriously slow, this was the build meta for a long time before lightning towers actually got buffed, and survivals would normally take around 1.5~2 hours. In the current build meta, survivals normally take around 40~55 minutes depending on map / build.
To add onto my comment, when I was doing spooktacular bay survival on 4p, it would take me about 1h20min for wave 20~35, and when I swapped to doing 2p runs it would take me 46 min, almost half as long. This will be the biggest time saver for you imo
That Ultimate glaive where you upgrade radius is for Hermit (he need all stats except radius). The ONLY stat that matters to Monk is radius. His aura damage not come in comparison to single LT, which cover much higher area amd deal significantly mor damade. Anyway "fixed" variant of that spear is okayish for your monk at least for now, before you run some maps with boss-related-"statstick" spear reward, which roll stats like fish in a bowl.
You should start getting Huntress and monk guardian pets on a couple summoners, and start armor farming. Usually that way you should be getting more mana, since armor is generally more expensive than weapons, also I understand that you want that extra XP for your chars, but playing survs with 4Players in is generally a bad idea drop wise for you and also time wise 13:09 good call, can do the same on arcane library, try incorporating a natures pylon from hermit, boost your range drastically, that way u can save a stack of aura from being built = more DU for mage towers
If you’re going to implement TB monk you may as well swap the genie from the barb onto TB monk, or add totally a different genie since the one on your barb is not very good and even if you are using a cardbord tube use your ranged attack so that you can sit around mage towers and that way genie can provide you with mana because of your ranged attacks
ngl, summoner minions against everything except aggroing ogres is kinda useless for clearing the trash monsters, especially when they're outside the auras. PS: tower buff beams increase aura range

the archer that kept taking damage was because of the mages which group up in that area on the bottom left corner
Having the whole squad in increases the amount of enemies that spawn in
