Thank you for Really useful information, even tho I’m from cold cold Canada 😉 and 50F is T-shirt weather for me. I don’t know the laundry facilities on Princess, but for doing laundry in my cabin on an NCL ship I bought the Scrubba laundry bag as well as laundry sheets. This little gizmo is a life changer for me! It’s great for doing underwear, tshirts socks etc on a cruise, or a hotel trip, road trip, overnight hiking or camping. And‼the bag can be used as a dry bag, for beach or rainy days. It doesn’t have pockets so it won’t replace the packable backpack, but it still can do double duty on some types of trips. Happy trails to you and your viewers 🚢👍🏻
Thank you for the tip! I have never heard of this product until now but this sounds super handy. I can see myself using this in the future when my kids are on travel sports teams. Gone are the days of febreezing a jersey to wear the next day lol. While I was on this Alaska trip we were able to wash and dry our clothes for free! They had some issues with the payment method and I was not complaining. Thank you for the well wishes and stay warm in Canada 😊.
Great tips. We’re going May ‘24 and I’m hoping for good weather. Nice of you to refer to CTTV, who I’ve watched for the lat 10 years for tips and advice. Thanks for taking the time to share. Gonna go watch your Alaska playlist… Take care.
Thank you. I am happy to hear that you found the tips useful. I binge watched CTTV the months leading up to my cruise and she was very helpful. I hope you enjoy the rest of the playlist.
I'm doing a short 7 day Alaska, mid June, 2024, on the Bliss (NCL) . I haven't decided if I will bring a Tri-climate jacket, and rain pants, or bring my old, long Trench coat, for rain. That foldable backpack looks good.
The foldable backpack was very convenient. I was able to fit a lot inside on port days. I watched a lot of vlogs from cruisers in June and July and it looks like rain is an every day thing at that time. I would suggest bringing whichever coat will keep you dry. If you are an overpacker like me you can always bring both lol. I hope you have an enjoyable cruise. Please, come back and let me know about your experience on NCL.
Great question! The Princess cruise issues out medallions to all cruisers instead of a key card. The medallion is used to make purchases and open your cabin. When you receive the medallion it is on a very thin lanyard. The medallion fits easily into the air tag watches and I felt more comfortable wearing it on my wrist. I purchased the air tag watch ahead of time to avoid paying high ticket prices on the ship for a watch to replace the lanyard. The medallion is waterproof too so you can wear it inside the pool! Very convenient.
I don't remember the exact temperatures but I do know we went the first weekend in May and avoided rain at every port except Ketchikan. Also, when we had our scenic cruise day through Glacier Bay I took my raincoat off because I felt warm. The coldest time overall on the trip was my canoe excursion because we traveled so close to the glacier and I really felt the temperature drop. I hope this was helpful. Enjoy your future cruise!
I absolutely love this concept! “What not to pack.”
Thank you! We gotta save space somehow in this luggage
You are a dynamic presenter, well delivered content. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the compliment! I hope you have a wonderful cruise. Please, come back and tell me how it went. ☺️

🌷Why the Air tag watch for Princess cruise? 😊

Kleenex was one of the 1st things on my list...😂
It is just always good to have tissues. I always need them at the most inconvenient time lol. I'm glad this was already on your list.
Bring binoculars.
Yes, binoculars are a must. Especially for at sea days.
Bring high end binoculars, ones for distance
Rechargeable handwarmers
Yes, this is a great suggestion. Especially when you are out on an excursion.

I wouldn’t go anywhere without Kleenex!
Kleenex is a must. Especially if you have kids.
