Timeless Feminist Wisdom, a poetic conversation between Adrienne Rich and Adela Zamudio

Curated by Sara Guest and Lynette Yetter, poems by U.S. lesbian poet, scholar, teacher and critic Adrienne Rich (1928-2012) and Bolivia's most celebrated writer Adela Zamudio (1854-1928) explore timeless feminist wisdom that continues to resonate today. Recording of an event held at Literary Arts in Portland, Oregon on November 30, 2023. Readings of Adrienne Rich's selected poems are by: Linda Jo Reinhard, Laura Bathrick, Kathleen Walsh and Annette Pronk. Adela Zamudio's selected poems are read and discussed by her translator Lynette Yetter, from the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation finalist bilingual book Adela Zamudio: Selected Poetry & Prose, translated from the Spanish by Lynette Yetter (Fuente Fountain Books 2022). The event concludes with a Q&A with the audience.
