get a monitor arm and then you can move the studio display much easier around and don't have to deal with the mess that the stand creates (and you can use the space below the monitor as well). it's truly a game changer, trust me.
I loveeeee your unconventional set up! I can imagine how fun it is to move things around and push the limits of where one furniture "should" be. What matters is that it feels like home and you have fun playing around with your layout. As an audience, I really enjoy all the different layout you've pulled off, it proves to me that the sofa is not limited to being infront of the TV, gives a fresh perspective! Just my personal opinion! ☺️ Thank you for giving us quality content, keeping it fresh and giving us thought provoking ideas!
what a phenomenal personal style and vibe --- with no reference to what it was before, I immediately felt drawn into the magic of the separated spaces. It's as if it has always been that way, wonderfully balanced. It's a well curated "I, Spy" book! And, that Vitsoe set-up is enviable!!!
I think you have a very unique vision. So the way you set up isnt conforming to contemporary times but actually extends beyond that, the screens and stuff are just quests, which is will come and go, but the rest of the space is timeless :) thank you for making these videos its very relaxing to watch!
Works great, I've never been a fan of desks against walls especially when you have a large window. A monitor desk stand would be a great idea to have the monitor pivot back and forth without having to pick it up, food for thought. ❤
not even 1 minute in and I immediately subscribed because your aesthetic is *chef's kiss* ! I just moved in with my partner and have been documenting making over his place so I've be naturally ingesting so much design content lately and so stoked to find you!
I like the idea of using the low shelves as separation but personally I couldn't sacrifice the seat facing the TV. Also I think the corner to the right of the desk could be improved, it feels a bit cluttered. First thought is to move the piece of furniture with the coffee stuff out of there and put a square piece of furniture against the wall where flower painting is. Could be a good corner for your records + turntable.
Gosh man I love your style so mush, that mid century/modern design pieces are so gooood. I'd love to have enough money to style my bedroom like this too. Btw in my opinion the USM consolle looks better under the window, just my opinion tho. Keep it up love ur content so much!!!!!!!!!
Great setup dude! I have similar layout (side window, open space living room and workspace), except mine is reversed. Thanks for sharing, I got a lot of new ideas from this video.
I think a lot of commenters here are not seeing the flexibility of this layout. You can move things around when working lol 😅 I like this a lot actually, would be great inspiration if you live in a small studio space and cant fit both a diner table and a desk, or for a dual desk set-up where on the sides you have a tabletop as well. You have a great eye for design, keep it up.
I think the best change here is that your desk is no longer facing the wall. So much nicer to work having the window as the background! Even at night, the space behind it makes it less claustrophobic. I never understood people who sit facing a wall to work!
Hm, I dont know.. Itˋs very pretty but it seems really impractical and inconvenient with how you seem to use the space. For anything you do, you now have to rearrange furniture everytime. Like, in order to watch TV you have to move your togo and possibly the whole separation unit, to work you have to slide your screen, a second chair at your work desk that does nothing- unless you rearrange your workdesk things again. I feel like right now you are just heading to make your place inconvenient to live in just for the sake of looking good...
I totally understand what you mean! I set up this desk configuration to accommodate two people in a small space, and it doubles as a dining area. Since the monitor isn’t used that often, I felt it was a compromise I could make and honestly, I don’t mind at all. As for the living space, I’m still experimenting with different styles to see if sitting sideways would be ideal. If you see a new rearranging video drop, you know what happened 😂
@@HausByG I mean, all that matters is that it works for you and it really does look pretty! :) As a viewer I just got the impression that you're somehow making things harder for yourself to achieve that beautiful, cameraworthy look
There's a lot of turning of heads in this layout to see the screens (including the TV). Aesthetic over function, traditional modern over practical modern, less digital, more human...which I think this place is more about. Nice place.
It would seem every design enthusiast gravitates towards MCM iconic pieces…typically an architects own home reveals the dimension beyond design 101. The ultimate objective is to derive joy
The desk setup looks fantastic. I also like how you have the coffee setup near the workspace, but how do you handle not having a sink nearby? Isn't it a problem when you rinse/clean/discard the equipment & leftovers? I have mine in the kitchen but I don't like how much space it takes there, I would prefer moving it to my office instead.
it is interesting to me how you talk about minimalism and yet your apartment is filled with thousands of little pieces of junk on every single shelf and table
isn't that a Clip-On Mic ? You should use that function to make sure the sound is more stable and therefor enjoyable. Especially when gesturing while talking the sound can get pretty rough
They are really expensive but the quality can’t be touched. This unit is something that will outlive all of us. Seems like everything this guy has is heirloom quality, but if I were his son I would be pining for the vitsoe and that USM shelf 😬
Wonderful as always. I wonder, when you upgrade/switch out furniture, what do you do with the other ones? Move it to a different place in your home, sell it, store it somewhere?
Most of the time, I end up selling the pieces I get! A lot of what I have is thrifted, which makes the whole ‘furniture hunt’ even more fun. What I love about thrifting is that most of the items retain their value, and I’ve even made money on some of the pieces I’ve decided to sell 👍🏼👍🏼
What do you call your living room aesthetic? Im trying to fill mine up with "obsecure" things, kinda similar to what you have, i just dont know what to look for, thanks! :)
It seems odd to not have a chair/sofa in front of the TV. The placement of the USM low divides the room in a way that doesn't quite make sense. It looked better and functioned better by the window. Everything else looks great though.
How do you walk barefoot at home? I'm always in my slippers, but my toes are still barely safe.😅 PS I thought your previous desk was pretty cool, but new setup looks even better.
Love the look but it seems sooooo forced. Way more form over function. The way you have your monitor set up seems incredibly impractical, especially when you had that one shot where you’re working on your laptop and turning your head to see the monitor along the wall. I like what you were going for on this video but it seems a little too, eh - not practical at all and more so showing off the shelving / desk setup.
I totally get what you mean! Honestly, I never use my monitor that way-I was just quickly setting up a wallpaper for the shot 😂 Since I don’t use the monitor often, I decided to compromise on it to have a table that can accommodate two people!

thank you ❤️ Always love to share :)
The pops of bright colours in this spaces is so satisfying to see. Gorgeous.

Didn't think you could make the place look even better. Great job man!
thanks buddy 🙏🏻
Really nice, I love that your space excapsulates eveything from the more deluxe designclassics to the more affordable IKEA-furnitures.
can’t go wrong with timeless pieces 👍🏼
This new layout screams awesome and good vibes to me. I love love love all kinds of arrangements!!!

That first jazz note hit like crack after this loong week. Lovely space. 🧡
Everything looks so cool man, that side big ass window is just too beautiful
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Aw man, I love your unconventional ways of designing your space. I’ve used your ideas to layout so many of my spaces!
Works great, I've never been a fan of desks against walls especially when you have a large window. A monitor desk stand would be a great idea to have the monitor pivot back and forth without having to pick it up, food for thought. ❤
I love those isometric shots of the desk and coffee area near the end of the video. The nighttime setup looks gorgeous with the added lighting.
its a vibe especially with the lamps :)

dayumn, the office is such a vibe. love how you play with the lighting too. very cosy.

i love your style, the vibes are unparalleled
It seems whenever you change your space, I love it…I think I just love your style and taste!!🩵
appreciate you :)
huge fan of your lamp collection 💡 they create a really nice vibe ~
Looking forward to an update video and seeing how this new setup has been long term. Great video!
Looks insane man, happy you got your dream set up! Dream big!
thank you 🙏🏻 Appreciate the love ❤️
Mi God! So beautiful! I must say I envy you for this Vitsoe system :)
Gosh man I love your style so mush, that mid century/modern design pieces are so gooood. I'd love to have enough money to style my bedroom like this too.
Btw in my opinion the USM consolle looks better under the window, just my opinion tho.
Keep it up love ur content so much!!!!!!!!!
thank you for the feedback! I’m still on the fence, i love how spacious it is but might try something new again 🤔
This is my dream lofi aesthetic ❤ Can you please show your kitchen 😍
What a beautiful space! Love the setup!
Great setup dude! I have similar layout (side window, open space living room and workspace), except mine is reversed.
Thanks for sharing, I got a lot of new ideas from this video.
great stuff, i wouldn't go outside anymore if I had a space like this ^^
im guilty :')
really cool space and has so much personality!

yea
totally agree with you on this one, so much more productive now!
it looks amazing!!! its one of my dreams to have a vitsoe unit. congratulations!! ññ
expensive but goals, the design is so on point.
Looks fantastic.
Your wallpapers look so cool, where did you find them?
Love it. IMO you should mount the monitor on an arm so you can easily swing it in and out!
Dream piece for me as well. Congrats.
606 is always a pretty good choice. Got mine second hand and i love it even with some scratces :)
beautiful, these things last forever
Woahhhh so pretty!!! I’m crying 😭 it’s so good~!!!!
thank you for the love 🙏🏻🫶🏼
wah biang eh literally the setup of dreams

Yeah not sure what’s going on here, both the work desk and the living space became less convenient,
Feels like rearranging for rearranging’s sake

came out amazing!!
I love your aesthetic ✨
Steph is the goat??? But nice setup - not sure I'd pay $6k for it though.
Love the channel! And the apartment 👌🏼
That desk looks like it was built for your space🔥
so happy with it :)
jesus man your room is so greatttttttttttttt
thank you
Not sure if I’m sold on the idea of using the record player etc as a room divider. To me it feels like something that belongs against a wall.
Love Vitsoe, Always wanted a 620
A dream chair too!
Interesting choice of music.🙂
I love the new setup

That hanging lamp is EPIC. Do you have a video /product info about it? I need that in my life haha
idk why but this shot looks so good 8:27
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I love it so much. I always wish to have a house like yours.🤎

Earthlings and the starless sea on the same bookshelf is so
Looks great! 😍😍😍😍😍
thank you 🙏🏻
Keep doin' what you doin' bro, amazing video as always. Much love
thank you for watching!
aesthetic desktop ✨
New video at 4am? Wow!
achievement unlocked 😎
it is interesting to me how you talk about minimalism and yet your apartment is filled with thousands of little pieces of junk on every single shelf and table
you have a flair and eye for design and art
appreciate it!
This one is so cool!!!!!
This is not my style, but... man it's a dream space. If it wasn't for the tech there, you would be basically live in another time
The tall paper lamp is a ceiling light, correct? Did you convert it to a floor lamp? It's beautiful
what is that vinyl console? absolutely in love.
isn't that a Clip-On Mic ? You should use that function to make sure the sound is more stable and therefor enjoyable. Especially when gesturing while talking the sound can get pretty rough
Really cool setup and very nice vibes… that clock looks super cool. Where did you get that clock from ?
I love your taste in decor but how do you deal with dust?
Very nice!😎
thank you!
$6000 is absolutely crazy for a desk with some shelves
They are really expensive but the quality can’t be touched. This unit is something that will outlive all of us. Seems like everything this guy has is heirloom quality, but if I were his son I would be pining for the vitsoe and that USM shelf 😬
好漂亮的整片百頁落地窗
form over function
6K USD for a desk is insane.
I cant wait to find my dream loft ❤
one fine day
@@HausByG yes 🙌🏾

really is!

why not install a good monitor arm for the monitor and you can move them easily to the front or keep them.
I love Vitsoe but your setup before looked better tbh
I love both set ups! Took me a long time to commit to this current one 🙏🏻
What do you call your living room aesthetic? Im trying to fill mine up with "obsecure" things, kinda similar to what you have, i just dont know what to look for, thanks! :)

What is that screensaver/video on your monitors and tv? 🙂
it`s been a while ✨
Hey Love the video!! where did you get the wallpaper on your display
where do you download the wallpaper for ur macbook!!!
enjoyed your videos, can you also share with us where you get your mac desktop background from?
I don’t know man I don’t see $6000 worth of design and materials with that desk but what would I know I’m just another random lol subscribed.
Awesome bro, what is the name of your old desk? Looking for one just like it
??
waitin for this!!
hope you enjoy!
Cool setup!but out of the topic, what’s the pants ID bro, looks so good!
its from jaded london :)
what's the yellow notepad with the face called?
How do you walk barefoot at home? I'm always in my slippers, but my toes are still barely safe.😅
PS I thought your previous desk was pretty cool, but new setup looks even better.
thanks man! I've been living barefoot my entire life, think my toes are seasoned 😅
Love the look but it seems sooooo forced. Way more form over function. Since I don’t use the monitor often, I decided to compromise on it to have a table that can accommodate two people!
Need video where to shop / thrift designers furniture in SG plz
carousell is usually the way to go 👌🏼 Gotta be quick though!
Nice setup with ample space, but just curious if if would hard to maintain them from the dust?
just gotta dust it once a week
Nice choice bro. Can I have your old table?
OMG WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET THAT FRENCHIE SIGN!! I'D LOVE TO GET ONE TOO 🤩
bought it in Melbourne! I think you can find it online somewhere
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT DUCK PICTURE?
