Everybody is talking about house, no doubt it's beautiful, but the ladie herself is decent n there is some aura associated with her unusual personality... n the way she talks, her hair color, every thing abt her is so sophisticated m.A.

The way she’s describing each character of house is like she’s telling an interesting story. Whole house is a book that this lady is reading to us.

Whole house is a book she has written herself and is now narrating to us , truly a masterpiece of an earthy person whose in tune with nature. She obviously a down to earth person but has class and sophistication which is reflected in her design , a truly regal lady in more ways than one

Glad I chanced upon this. My mother in law was born in Lahore in 1918. Her father was an assistant Registrar when he married in the early years of the 20th Century. They moved to Jalandhar at some point. They named their house Ashiyana. The architect reminds me of my mum’s dear friend Anees. Loved her presentation and the home she conceptualised, built and maintains.
(Imagine a world where there are no boundaries, no schisms, no hatred, no enmity and let peace flow… John Lennon, dear Architect N, and each one of us can rebuild that fantastic utopia … or am I dreaming😊 )
❤ best wishes to the architect N and her family

Your house has character, like somebody here mentioned, of the 'sub continent'. Loved the thought process behind the whole design...the connect with our roots...the importance of kitchens in our houses....the use of sustainable techniques...like using the mud dug up from basement and the best of all, mindfulness about the sun...awesome !

Ma’am love ur comments abt the kitchen I totally agree .. “dirty kitchen” grease kitchen “ we r really trying to educate ppl that ur kitchen must b cleanest most hygienic place in the house it feeds ur loved ones ..n why ppl make three kitchen ??!! Even in one kanal house ?.. bhai aik banao use karo n then term “ show Kitchen “ which is most expensive but least used 😩🤦🏻‍♀️im from a German kitchen company n we feel as being specialist in kitchens that architects are not taught Abt kitchen n don’t care much Abt the design n functionality of a kitchen therefore cannot guide clients properly . Really love ur style very cosy n earthy n genuine n non pretentious waiting for the second part to upload .. Xx

    • @shaziaaslam6104
      @shaziaaslam6104 3 года назад +2

      Yes
      100 % agreed
Kitchen should be in the centre and be treated as the jewel of the house.
It need not be placed in the far end of the house + .why should it be hidden somewhere ?
      I live n work in KSa .
The house we live in is a nice villa designed by a Canadian company some 40 - 45 years ago.
Surprisingly its kitchen is just like Nabeela Nazir ' s kitchen ...in the centre of the house overlooking a patio .The kitchen's lay out is as a partially open concept plan v v convieniently located + keeping in view the local culture and climate needs .
Using this kitchen.... 10 times a day i appreciate the architects foresight n understanding.
      ..
When i was building my first house in dha ...the architect couldnt get my requirments and i was totaly inexperienced so it turned our just like other houses.
      Now for my next ..
My plan is to find out an architect who understands my requirements well and can do justice to the local culture and climate.
      Thanks Nabila Nazir

I absolutely loved the idea of creating the kitchen area as essential for gathering and making it the focal area. I never understood the idea that it’s just shut out, here in the USA our kitchens are a family gathering area and are the focal point of the living area and when I visited Pakistan I found it a bit odd that the kitchens are closed off and basically a place where the housekeeper stays and maintains it. Love your home and it’s beautiful that you incorporate nature into your space. Great design

I'm a tree lover. I constructed a house keeping in view an awesome peepal tree standing in one corner of the house. It was giving shade to the house and was a great help from noise pollution. When I sold that house, the new owner cut that tree. It still hurts to remember, even after ten years.

It's lovely really . Courtyard was a centre point in our culture it's great that you have re-created the.

It's truly amazing. Nabeela why are people like you kept as hidden jewels. I'm truly impressed, I wish more people and architects start creating such liveable homes, which are beautiful, with privacy and lovely plantation. Too good utilisation of one kanal space. A combination of our traditional SEHAN concept which goes with our traditions, our climate and environment, but modernised. You truly are a trend setter. Rather than copying western architecture which dosnt go with our climate and even our family terms. Salute to you for creating a master piece home and sharing it with us

An excellent house , very touchy and realistic detailing, you said exactly the same as being said by Perveen shakir sahiba, she was also very concerned and had very deep concerns with the trees covered with sparrows and their chirping sounds, that depict the inner concern and the true inside of a person, its a great vlog and a very good presentation, reality has been discussed, I can feel and recognized the sense of humor and the deepest concern of the ownership. today we make houses for selling ,not for living , I hope it is very encouraging that people are still there who knows the values of old traditions .All the best , keep it up......

Maasha-allah her house is beautiful. I enjoyed her conversation more than the structure of her house even though it was a beautiful house. I wish I would make such a house here in India.

Listening to "Build a Home" by Cinematic Orchestra while watching this elegant lady describe her masterpiece of a house. I'm broke filhaal, but whenever I muster the strength and discipline to earn enough money to build my own house, I'll make it just like this one.
