The harshingar tree at the entrance to a house is divinity. The divine fragrance that wafts through the hone during late evenings is something that money and words can't quantify. Harshringar purifies the entire neighborhood. At my farm house the entrance is flanked by a 130 year old harshingar tree and a 70 year old Bael tree ( Bilwa patra). The sheer beauty of the trees makes me yearn to go back to the farm house. For me the highlight of your beautiful home was the harshingar tree and the dashavatar wall art in your living room. I find your house very vibrant and very colorful and packed with culture. A bit overpacked at some places but nevertheless a lovely home that speaks so effortlessly about the culture and ethos of the great land on which it stands. In the midst of so many anemic copy cat characterless, mundane, uninspiring, concrete blobs called homes yours truly stands out heads and shoulders over the homes. Loved the greenery and also really sweet you let your kid also talk about the home. Wishing the lovely family all happiness in this lovely home
What a wonderful home! To know that it's a home that has been in the family for years, to honour the beautiful tree planted by a family member however inconveniently located weaves all the heritage of the family and the country into a very contemporary home. Well thought out, well designed and obviously very loved. Thank you for sharing this!
A beautiful collection of traditional and modern Indian approaches to craft and artistry. The variety of colours and textures capture the Indian ethos while maintaining the feeling of a home. Extremely extravagant but there are so many things that seem to have a story behind them.
A 14,000 sq ft. house for 4 people itself is NOT ROOTED IN OUR TRADITION OR CULTURE. Too much consumption and not enough knowledge about our culture Our Gods and sacred pieces have become a decoration pieces and marketed as going to our roots Just a show of money and doing what they want but not going deep into the roots the son also had nothing deep to say Just a show without depth Where is the Mandir, the Geeta and sacred places - just a western show and vantage of our heritage Not impressed at all. Actually made me feel sick!!!!
This house is really nice i could feel the spirit of the owner through the video I really enjoy that her family can enjoy art in a daily basis. This is a home-museum! Kudos!

@@vinaymehta8200 bro everyone's way of expression can be different, that doesn't not mean they are just showing it off. It is their home, they don't need our permission on how they should decorate things. Your way of seeing the world is negative and narrow.
@@vinaymehta8200 commenting everywhere I see. Jealousy is not a good look. All the marble and gold Punjabi style homes are everywhere in Delhi. Go see some other videos. We get it, good taste makes you sick.

Beautiful house. But it’s overly overdone. In the journey of creating something special, something unique, it became a museum of sorts. Maximalism is fine and I personally love it. But this became something strange. Maybe the video, the way it is shot, is so artificial. That’s what i feel.
Nice but the basic concept of home is missing here...doesn't look like home it looks like a Historical Museum..should rather have a separate room or section for all those precious artifacts... but again that is just my thought
Wow, I am mind blown by the intricacy. Thank you Amrita for projecting Indian culture and craftsmanship in such a beautiful way.
