Would love to see the Lecar going again. I had several of them back in the day. They were so fun and unique. Also very smooth and comfortable for such a small car.
"that Honda used to be a daily driver, but it's been down for years"... I can remember seeing your videos of it on the road back then, time really flies.
I hope you keep your R5 Mark. They are really interesting cars. I bought one new around 1983 (I think) and drove it several years. It was a challenge to work on. French engineering is... different. I'll just leave it at that.
I drove one in ‘78 looking for my first NEW car after a Beetle, a VW van and an MGB. It was fun to drive but the dealer seemed sketchy so I bought a Subaru. Drove that for 16 years. Good luck getting it running. They have a bit of charm.
Mandatory belly rubs for Stella 😊, my dog is the same way. I saw a restored Berkley and they are nice. Where do you find a hood for the engine compartment?
so sad that you didn't store the LeCar properly, but everybody makes mistakes, even the best of us. Are those sealed beam headlights? In Europe they had just rectangular headlights. It's US spec to have round ones i think.

I plan to get it going, stay tuned !

My first car was a Renault 5. Later Mark. Light blue 1985. Loved that little car.
You should restore it. You would have a nice pair of French cars. The Le Car and the Dauphine 😊
Have owned several R4’s Love the hook in the dash for shifting in another gear!

As a French guy, waiting for so long to see it run :)

I hear they do 😊 have a bit of charm !
I built an R5 autoX car in 84 and raced it all through 85.
What happened to the GLC? Have you ever checked out Mortske Repair because Stella has a twin in Duff
I've been waiting 6 years for it to have its own feature where he gets it running! Hopefully it's hidden somewhere and that's the case !
the Renault has a chance, maybe
my dad a had subaru legacy. his was much newer than yours but your legacy ran better!

That's the same Subaru I have. Mines a 92 LS, are you parting it out?
Nope
