I think it's worth saving up for the full oz. There are rumors that the American platinum eagles are being discontinued. I believe that's putting a bit of a premium on them. Since platinum is part industrial metal, it could be more impacted by a recession. And many economists are warning of this. For that reason, I'm holding off. On the other hand, I do think platinum is historically a good value vs. gold. I remember white gold was the big trend when I got married. Platinum then was much more expensive than gold, and everyone at the time wanted it to look like they were wearing platinum. I’m thinking of getting the platinum once 125 year anniversary for the Perth Mint in the next week! I’ll look into the idea of low premium fractional gold as a video idea.
