Iceborne Alatreon in Multiplayer is harder than Solo, because then a whole group of players needs to do enough elemental damage and if you can't weaken it is normaly always an instant quest fail.
He was messing me up badly but I jeweled in blight resist 3 and it helps tremendously. All that time I spent eating nulberries I could either heal or attack the monster. I got wayyy farther than I ever did and nearly killed him a few times. I broke both horns and met the dps check for the first two eschaton judgements but by the time he switched to ice mode I would end up carting and failing but I’m almost there
Thanks to this video, I was able to level up a bit and finally take down Alatreon twice. Once as a duo, and then as a solo the very next run. I was able to make his full set of armor and upgraded LS (I had… so many random mats from failed runs. 4 of his highest rarity mantle… thing.) now I’m looking forward to taking down Fatalis sometime soon >:)

I like this style of guide, you pretty covered all the things I wanted to know as it happened. I think my biggest problem is I'm underpowered. If my calculations are correct, I'm still 20k short from killing him after breaking both horns.

Everyone suggest safi equipment, is it mandatory to wear safi's? 3. Im always dead to EJ, on your vids that EJ isn't hurt at all, why is that? 4. I dont have Kjarr ice weapon, do you have other suggestion? Thank you before, and cool videos, i learn your moveset against Alatreon are very intersting 🙏
Thanks for checking out the video. I do have more current ones on Alatreon where I did it with the Hunting Horn and not as good decos. For fire I'd say Frostfang Barioth's weapon is amazing for it, and max out your element to help with the Elemental topples. Kjarr and the Meta stuff isn't required. Hope that helps

In the middle of the fight (usually after 2 EJ, and i got died/or my dps not enough to topple him) he changed to a same element with my weapon, if there anything i can do about that to topple him down, so im not died on next EJ? why near the end did you cluch claw him and jump off to attack him? also, great guide, i noticed ome mistkes i make, i've been dying to this monster for 2 days now let's try with the knowledge gained here
Glad I could help, and when monsters are in that weird drooling staggered state, if you clutch on and jump off, you reset the state, giving you a longer time to do damage.
What do you recommend if you don't have safi 5 piece? I don't have ps plus (so I can't play multiplayer) and I know a lot of people know how hard it is to solo safi. I do want to solo safi but I want the 5 piece fatalis to fight it. Help would be very appreciated :)

There are some Side Quests where you talk to people in Seliana and they give you a quest to complete to unlock the (plus) version of that mantle. Each (plus) version has different slots to put decos in. You might have to Google to find out the quest names.
At 2:09 while showing the build, I showed the health augment I have on the weapon. So I recover some health while also still taking a little bit of damage from the armor.
After updating my game my save data got corrupted. I don't have backup files to recover it so I had to restart everything from base game to Iceborne. I will try to solo him with Velkhana's Revent Elusarca (Long Sword)... there's no way I can get Safi's set because I only play solo... Your videos always telling me to not give up! I'll do my best and try to catch up! (PS: Another great run! good game as always *\(^o^)/*)

Damn bro sometimes i feel so dumb when i watch these videos. I never thought of dodging the eruption attacks like this (one back and then roll to the front to get some time to attack) and also never thought of countering by the sides wtf. It is so obvious and my dodogama brain couldn't realise that.
Alatreon is so f***ing difficult for me because the most elemental damage I have on my fire and ice weapons is around 600. I’m not using a crit element build, and it’s so difficult for me to both break the horn and meet the elemental dps check. Sometimes I meet the dps check and sometimes I break the horn but I can’t do both. The most i’ve gotten to is his second eschaton judgement but I always die and leave quest to hold onto what little materials I got before my last cart. It’s so frustrating. I’m getting better but it’s ridiculous, i’m not mr100 yet and don’t have any siege weapons, I don’t have augmented rarity 12 armor. So maybe I shouldn’t be fighting him yet but i’m stubborn and tired of getting destroyed repeatedly. I just put on blight resist 3 because i’m tired of eating nulberries, it wastes soooo much time every time you get hit or cart you lose time and don’t meet the dps check. You have to play flawlessly
@@jvc776 Yes i’ve beat him around 50 times now lol. I struggled at first but I just needed better gear and some practice and now he’s pretty easy. Putting on blight resist helped me out a lot. I’ve beat him in around 9 mins with frostcraft greatsword as my fastest time so far
@greywolf535 I was like I'm not sure what armors people use now lol, but at endgame back then everyone was just wearing either Fatalis armor or a mix set with Alatreon gear.

Ahhh...just use the meat thingy to heal red bar...LOllll...why didnt i remember this one..now i have a chance after 50 tries..😂😂😂..but then..the first quest for altreon will start at down there already..so it stucks just to run and eat all buff ++..thats what it cost 1 time die already

Probably 3 pieces of Teostra and 2 pieces of Ragining Brachy. Use some of your level one slots to boost your elementd damage for Alatreon

I would say yes, I only run Safi armor if I have a weapon with Health regeneration augment.

That is the skill protective polish (after sharpening, for 60 seconds you won't lose sharpness)

During the time of this recording, Safi lobbies were super popular so it was easy to hop in with randoms to get armor

Try using heroics it’s a fun fight you do like 375 to 400 damage per hit it’s crazy
