Not too long ago had this happen to us while we were on the ride.
The lights came on and the ride stopped. After what felt like forever two staff members came to get us off the ride. Real bizarre experience. Got a few fast track passes but the day it happened we didn't really need those passes for anything sadly.
Surprised this video didn't ask about the random pattern spray painted onto the floor in one section.

I have never done the walking dead ride in its current form because of the actors in the exit corridor. I would do it every time if it was still X

Not gonna lie I prefered this ride as the backwards coaster it was before and tbh if it kept the backwards movement it'd probably still be better than it is now.

Id guess that the green paint is part of a nondestructive testing process to check for cracks in the track and welds.

I mean at one point one of my mates mates who works at thorpe park told me the ride was haunted. Sometimes it’d just break down randomly around the bit where you stop before the last drop and the ride jolts as walkers bang on the digital windows. Like it’d just totally stop completely. Apparently there was a woman seen around the maintenance bay but idk how much I believe it. Probably explains why the lights went on but it could’ve been a member of staff. Who knows. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

It broke down while i was on it once so i saw the whole thing with the lights on, i was stuck for around 30minutes but then got harnessed off. I dont really see the point of the harness but oh well
