- Who has memories in a Ford 9000? This mint ride was at the 2015 75 Chrome Shop truck show. The owner wasn't available at the time for an interview. So if anyone has the details, share them!

This is the best looking COE ever built. I think Ford always made the most stylish and eye appealing heavy duty trucks such as the CLT 9000 and the LTL 9000. These were my favorite trucks. Too bad Ford is no longer in the big truck business. Sure miss seeing them on the road.
I owned one of these back in 83, definitely one of the best looking coe's of all time. I wish I still had it, they make beautiful show trucks.
My baby had an,8v92, 13 spd. Dark Charcoal grey with dual stacks, all aluminum wheels, man she was a beauty. Be proud, as I'm sure you are. You've got a good looking truck there. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My absolute favorite Cabover of all time. Haven't seen one since I was a kid.
My dad and grandpa worked at the Kentucky Truck Plant where they were made...I love the Ford heavy trucks!!
One of the NICEST Cl9000 I have ever laid my eyes on!!
I've actually been in that truck before. It is based out of Jacksonville, Florida, and Brumos Porsche uses it to transport their vintage cars around. I'm not sure if they own it, or just rent it from the owner, but I'm sure they'd be able to put you in touch with the owner if it isn't them. The story I heard why we don't see many Ford trucks anymore is because they all got bought up and shipped to Mexico, as I guess they are popular down there.
Sweet look'n rig. I always liked Ford heavy trucks, I got a chance to drive a '74 W 9000 cabover, Drove many L 9000s over the years, The last one was a '99 Sterling with a walk in sleeper, 560 Detroit, 18 speed apu, loaded! fancy Ford!
She's beautiful. Remember the CL 9000s from my 30 plus years of driving. Never got the chance to drive one but man I sure did want to.
I’m not much on green, but it really suits this truck. The Fords really have a good body style and being longer really enhances the beauty of it! Cabovers rule! Would love to see inside and underneath as well. 🤩
My favorite COE semi. I haven't seen one in on the road in years.
Beautiful looking rig! Love the old school rigs! They don’t make em like that anymore!
CL9000 also known as the Two Storey Edsel......miss these and the sound of a 6-71..... Gone like dinosaurs.
What a beautiful Rig 👍😎 .....
Ford, Mack and International cab overs had their own distinctive faces unlike Pets, Freights and Kenwoths. I'm not saying they were bad I'm just saying they were pretty much the same and sometimes it's really hard to distinct them from the distance. Really good truck!
i was privileged enough to make a quick run to new york from l.a. on a sharp looking ford coe with a silver engine and no smoke governors.
that 4 bag air ride cab took some time to get used to it but whao, what a beautiful truck riding truck it is.
They really tilted going into a tight curve at speed...
thats why I wanted to be born in usa 50s! no one else country dosent have so cool trucking culture and TRUCKS! its heritage of mankind
What a classy looking truck.
Beautiful truck. Hope you also shot some video of the KW next to it.
Beautiful truck love the colors.
Absolutely flawless!
I’m not a fan of the color green , but it does look pretty good on this rig. The CL9000 was a great style of cabover...shows attitude! Cabovers rule. We have one with the Silver 92. Love a clean and polished cabover! 🥰🤩😎🧐👍🏻
sharpest truck ever built in my humblest opinion
Jordan Graff not!
These were the tallest semi trucks back then!
nice truck and the `ford` emblem, lol,`henry`,thats cool.
Beautiful restored cab over, tales me back to when I was a kid. Also, background guitar work is killer. Would love to have it, where is it from. Thanks
Very nice cabover and trailer. Trailer looks good hooked up to that cabover.
Beautiful! Had that slit cab for a better ride. Gorgeous machine!
I Love Ford and Love these trucks!
Nave espacial......!!!!! Lindo mesmo, muito top......!!!!!
Rio Brilhante - Mato Grosso do Sul - Brasil
She's been parked awhile, all the air is out of the cab air suspension. Then again maybe the air dumps when you park.
Awesome truck.
Need a cb interview of that beauty
I made 1 load in one of these ford's drove weard had a full floating air ride cab ,it leaned when you went around corners, rode good though, and I really liked the dash set up
Hy we have the same truck in my country , and I have a question , were didyou take your front chromed grill?
I changed a head gasket on one of these trucks one time it had a KT 450 Cummins. The cab wouldn’t jack up but there was still enough room under the cab I got it done anyway
I love the fords,GMC,and international Cabovers. sweet
This has to be at least a 1983 model CLT9000 with that blue oval on the front!
I worked on these at a Ford dealership. They were the nicest looking COE’s. I can tell it’s the air ride cab and not the non air ride cab.
Please do more cabover rolling interview's
Sweet truck
WOW.....Preciosa Maquina seňores,,,saludos desde Nicaragua..admiramos sus bellos Camiones..
Is the background music royalty or did you produce it also? If so, do you think it's available for listening? I really dig this type of guitar ambience.
Nice .... im a K100 and Freight Shaker COE fan but nice Ford
Lindos meu sonho ainda é morar nos EUA e trabalha com essas máquinas top.
sweet..thanks
Impecable
wats the soundtrack???
Looking back FORD heavy truck was way ahead of it time. Not one rivet on that cab and very plush interior.
I always wondered, how do these Fords compare to the GMC Astro’s of the time. Which were better and more durable trucks? Ford had the looks for sure but which was a more reliable and better made truck? Anyone?
I like that color....
Love cabovers
What powers it ?
Sure would have liked to see the insaid of the Cab,
???????? Music was ok 👌.
Why do American truck trailers sit so far back on the chassis?
Одна из самых красивых машин
can anybody tell me what song is playing in the background please
abadtrucker I BELIEVE THE SONG WAS WHITE LINE FEVER
MAŞALLAH 🧿
this show is more entertaining more informative than American trucker where the host in my opinion is very annoying.. keep up the awesome work.
In 1979 I was 19 years old looking for a job in Rancho Cucamonga California around the corner from where I lived was a trucking yard I went in there just looking for something to do around the yard old boy from Louisiana says you looking for a job I said yep he had a brand new First Years cl9000 I knew nothing about driving a truck I believe it was a 13 speed he gave me about a 6 hour lesson then he crawled in the sleeper and said don't grind my fucking gears and I must say the man had balls I had no CDL and I knew nothing about driving a 13-speed how you just let me go and he went to sleep and we're both alive to tell about it well I know I am I don't know what happened to him anyway that's my story
Hmmm incredibil. What it means to have $$$$$. I’m on the road almost 30 years.
Good thocks
I BELIEVE THE YEAR OF THAT FORD WT 9000 CABOVER WAS A 1974
I know this is a CLT9000, and going by the trademark Ford blue oval logo this has to be an '83!
erro mortal da ford!!imperduável!!
Large Marge sent me here
Hauling The Bullitt mustang
Old semis > new semis
Could of shown inside the cab..!!!!!
It's a f.o.r.d found on road dead.allthough I did like the ltl.9000
Needs a stainless Y pipe. Other than that it's prefect.
The most comfortable, quietest truck i ever drove!
fuuuuck would look nice with my 1979 FXE
Yea probably spent 200k on the damn thing
Cab over Ford
