i have to say, the passion and detail with she explains the looks makes her so deserving of all of her fashionista attributes, u can tell she’s truly passionate and in love with these looks and their making!!!!
@lilybsrose she’s a WORKING woman not an heiress. Plus she has children. She has lots of things to be concerned with. Lucky for her she can afford to experience luxury goods and she’s passionate about fashion.
She talks about the details of fashion the way in which I learned fashion back in the 80’s in high school Fashion Merchandising class. No one knew what that meant & listening to her explain these looks is like listening to my teacher who had the same passion & reading articles in WWD.
but she has no taste, all the looks (beside the first one) are just awful, nothing makes sense, everything looks cheap and too much at the same time. She says a lot of words but nothing really means anything deep or interesting. Her looks are like the SATC, empty, shallow but controversial...
Sarah is sophisticated, glamorous, charming, eloquent, intellectual, witty, respectful and elegant. She is such a class act. She's so refreshingly attractive.
@Liitebulb I reacted the same way. I thought, "She's a fun sponge." They all have this big wealthy, artsy fartsy clique so it just all goes in a gotta be special circle. Lol.
I definitely admire the level of respect and care she puts into her Met outfits. I truly don’t understand people that get invited to this themed event but then decide to completely ignore the theme or go super low-effort. Like what?!
This was epic to hear her stories and passion and about the McQueen scraps and her knowledge of references. She’s exactly like this in person too. I’ve got loads of time for SJP.
The way she meticulously described those looks and the way in which the designer went about to create them was so fantastic. Much respect to her, vogue, and the met.
*I have to say SJP is the best! She’s detail oriented, charismatic and has a flair for style and fashion and she don’t care what people think of her. I have seen her first Vogue looks on the first episode and now the second one. I’m so excited*
I could listen to her talk for hours.. I love her attention to details and how she remembers them!! U can tell fashion/designers are important to her and she takes it very seriously, BUT in no way is she self-righteous or smug about it - incredible! 💗💗💗
have her dresses been displayed? they are art. those headpieces are art. she takes it so seriously and it shows. would be great to see these dresses in person.
I always love these videos but honestly SJP is soooo good at it. She so appreciates the art and the process and the craftsmanship behind these looks. She looked kinda sad when she found she'd come to the end, and frankly so was I. And the fact it all started with a thrift store dress is beyond fabulous.
Even her casual looks slay. The whole time I was watching her talk about Met gala looks I couldn’t stop thinking how much I love that blouse she has on + the necklace combo. Can someone tell me who made that blouse??
I could listen to her talk about her fashion (or fashion in general) for hours!! Please bring her back for more. :) Loved hearing her experiences and thought process

It is so nice to see her talk so passionately about fashion and taling the Met Gala seriously... Past editions have lacked her passion and commitment to the theme!!
Vogue, here’s an idea: Get Sarah Jessica Parker and Tracee Ellis Ross in conversation about their red carpet looks. Like, I just need my two favorite fashionistas-SJP and TER-in the same space at the same time talking to each other about clothes and designs.
She is very thoughtful of her words - of what she says and how she says it. I love SJP so much. I LOVE her style. I would love just to spend a day in her world.
The detail and also the memory of every piece. It really shows there's always been the idea and exact expectaction. Which makes all of them memorable pieces.
Sarah 🧡 Thank YOU!!! For not injecting and cutting into your face and for showing the use of us that want to look like ourselves, that aging is a beautiful process. It’s all about attitude. I have been a holistic master esthetician for almost 4 decades and I teach aging and beauty naturally. Wabi sabi embracing the imperfections of life in ourselves and aging a beautiful gift. 🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa
@dalilamarilyibarra women especially, are told a lie by social media and the beauty industry. If we age or have a grey hair or wrinkle , we are no longer beautiful or valuable. I am trying to change that story one person at a time. Women like Sarah show us that we get better as we age and we don’t need to change our face for a ridiculous and unattainable beauty standard. 🙌🏻🍑🧡
I had the privilege of seeing the magnificent Oscar de la Renta gown on display at the de Young in San Francisco some years ago. I did a silent scream inside when I saw it I was so excited!! SJP is always my favorite at the met gala 100%.
For some it may seem silly but I love how she pays such attention to detail when it comes to fashion. It’s more than just putting on a pretty dress to her. 7 to 8 months to prepare for The Met, what? Come on now…how fab! I could listen to her talk about clothes all day! ❤️
Imagina ser tan iconic que literal tienes un video en Vogue hablando solo de tus looks en la met gala, amo a esta mujer, la manera en la que se expresa y sus ideas sobre la moda.
Fashion’s biggest night returns Monday, May 2. Tune in to Vogue’s Met Gala Live at 6 PM ET on vogue.com/met-gala
Pls post soundarya sharma photoshoot video for Vogue magazine 🙏
Nicole Richie and Kesha would be amazing. please do them next.
- your biggest fan fo eva
Any info on that vase on the table to SJP’s left?
Post soundarya sharma photoshoot video for Vogue also
@bobbycervantes2253 I was thinking the same thing - love it
i have to say, the passion and detail with she explains the looks makes her so deserving of all of her fashionista attributes, u can tell she’s truly passionate and in love with these looks and their making!!!!
When you are rich and dont have to worry about anything else but met gala looks 🤷🏼♀️
@lilybsrose Explain please. We are all here... ''Worrying about Met gala looks''.
@missthea5259 how dare you? 😏
@AndrewNation13 Loool! 😂🤣😂😂🤣
@lilybsrose she’s a WORKING woman not an heiress. Plus she has children. She has lots of things to be concerned with. Lucky for her she can afford to experience luxury goods and she’s passionate about fashion.
She loves the details. She loves the arts. So good listening to her talk about fashion! She truly is in love with it
She talks about the details of fashion the way in which I learned fashion back in the 80’s in high school Fashion Merchandising class. No one knew what that meant & listening to her explain these looks is like listening to my teacher who had the same passion & reading articles in WWD.
For the most part clothes are just clothes, but she manages to elevate fashion to an art form.
but she has no taste, all the looks (beside the first one) are just awful, nothing makes sense, everything looks cheap and too much at the same time. She says a lot of words but nothing really means anything deep or interesting. Her looks are like the SATC, empty, shallow but controversial...
SJP has such a whimsical way of making everything she talks about seem magical and special. She is so so great!
Legendary fashionista
She was doing this interview 2 months ago and now she’s back!! She’s just that legendary!
I was so mad when they didn't include her Met Gala looks in the last segment, but now I get it and couldn't be happier.
Agree!
@rithond I felt the same way! And they could do a segment on just her hat choices or shoes
I thought it was the same interview and then I realized it was the Met Gala edition and I click so fast!
Just saw her on the Met Gala coverage tonight. She wore another one of her hats that looked amazing. The girl can wear a hat like no one’s business.
She takes the met gala seriously and ALWAYS understands the assignment
She’s so incredibly sentimental. I adore her!
She is a fashion icon
Sarah is sophisticated, glamorous, charming, eloquent, intellectual, witty, respectful and elegant. She is such a class act. She's so refreshingly attractive.
Eloquent? She's a nervous talker and very irritating to listen to. Word salad. She's an actress though not everyone has to be a great speaker
@Liitebulb I reacted the same way. I thought, "She's a fun sponge." They all have this big wealthy, artsy fartsy clique so it just all goes in a gotta be special circle. Lol.
SHE IS SO CHIC ❤️🔥
This is THE guest to have on this channel. SJP is so passionate about the artistic process of fashion, it is fascinating to hear her speak
I definitely admire the level of respect and care she puts into her Met outfits. I truly don’t understand people that get invited to this themed event but then decide to completely ignore the theme or go super low-effort. Like what?!
Just hearing her commentary on fashion is a treat! Thanks Vogue!
This was epic to hear her stories and passion and about the McQueen scraps and her knowledge of references. She’s exactly like this in person too. I’ve got loads of time for SJP.
She seems so very empathetic and sensitive to other people, esp bc of her story about Lee McQueen. I love her very genuine and warm personality.
We need this to be a series where she talks about all things fashion
Hi 👋 how are you doing?
SJP always understands the assignment. Love everything about her.
Heavenly Bodies was one of the best Met Gala themes ever!
Also, "thrifted dress" is so sustainable - this should be brought back!!
It already has been lol. Shawn Mendes did a recycled outfit just this year!
@pepps1943 I think so has Emma W. now and then - but I mean, more as a theme perhaps to encourage it for everyone :)
agreed! I was hands down the most visually stunning in my opinion.
I loved „punk-chaos to couture“.
The way she meticulously described those looks and the way in which the designer went about to create them was so fantastic. Much respect to her, vogue, and the met.
She still looks the same. I love her, she is so down to Earth.
Hello how are you doing?
*I have to say SJP is the best! She’s detail oriented, charismatic and has a flair for style and fashion and she don’t care what people think of her. I have seen her first Vogue looks on the first episode and now the second one. I’m so excited*
Why is this whole comment in bold? Lol
*It’s my parking comment. I can do anything I want with it bold , italic, hyphenated etc. cheers have a nice day!*
@danishqaril8919 yeah, everything when you go back and edit it 😝
Yeah macam bodo tuh Peps
She's such a style icon ❤️✨
I could listen to her talk for hours.. I love her attention to details and how she remembers them!! U can tell fashion/designers are important to her and she takes it very seriously, BUT in no way is she self-righteous or smug about it - incredible! 💗💗💗
SJP is extremely articulate and very versed in fashion....her smarts are unmeasurable 💕
She's plotting her return to the steps of The Met and I am HERE. FOR. ALL. OF. IT!
*Also, do one with Blake next*
You can actually feel her love for fashion, for everything she wore. I smiled through the whole video.
have her dresses been displayed? they are art. those headpieces are art. she takes it so seriously and it shows. would be great to see these dresses in person.
I'm fascinated, I could listen to her for hours
So could SJP
Will never get enough of Sarah Jessica!!! She’s a true legend!!! Another one please please please!
I always love these videos but honestly SJP is soooo good at it. She so appreciates the art and the process and the craftsmanship behind these looks. She looked kinda sad when she found she'd come to the end, and frankly so was I.
And the fact it all started with a thrift store dress is beyond fabulous.
I have to say, that signed Oscar de Lorenta dress is one of my absolute favorite Met looks of all time. Absolutely stunning
Sarah Jessica Parker is absolute muse
She's very into details.. true fashion influencer
Even her casual looks slay. The whole time I was watching her talk about Met gala looks I couldn’t stop thinking how much I love that blouse she has on + the necklace combo. Can someone tell me who made that blouse??
she's so passionate about it and i'm here for it
She's aging so beautifuly! I absolutely love her and admire her passion for fashion. She treats fashion as art, as it should be.
Love her. Her love for the arts is awesome. I love that she is involved with the NYC Ballet as well.
I could listen to her talk about her fashion (or fashion in general) for hours!! Please bring her back for more. :) Loved hearing her experiences and thought process
Even though shes in her 50s she is still gorgeous
Being gorgeous and age doesn't matter
Such a great idea to do another of these with her, shes brilliant at this.
SJP lives for fashion and it feels so good to listen to her talk about her Met Gala looks, because there's passion on her comments.❤️
she is absolutely stunning and so well spoken
I wish everyone else put this much energy into their Met Gala looks.
She is the perfect proof that woman doesn’t have to cut and inject stuff in her face in order to be attractive. Her charisma makes her perfect

Always loved her take on met looks
It is so nice to see her talk so passionately about fashion and taling the Met Gala seriously... Past editions have lacked her passion and commitment to the theme!!
Love her respect and effort and interpretations and thoughtfulness around the themes. It was intriguing to listen to 😍🤩
Nobody I adore more 💝💝😭
the way she explains her outits and looks is music to ears
I want her to do voice acting for movies, I think she’ll do well with that voice
the removing pins until three in the morning, me after a dance show
I could and I would listen to her talking about fashion for hours, please consider making a series of these videos just on her.
Vogue, here’s an idea: Get Sarah Jessica Parker and Tracee Ellis Ross in conversation about their red carpet looks. Like, I just need my two favorite fashionistas-SJP and TER-in the same space at the same time talking to each other about clothes and designs.
SOOOOOOO LOVE Sarah Jessica Parker❤
This was missing last time , thank you Vogue.
She is very thoughtful of her words - of what she says and how she says it. I love SJP so much. I LOVE her style. I would love just to spend a day in her world.
I wish we could get more videos like this about Met gala looks, it's really fascinating!
I can’t stop looking at that wonderful black pearl necklace and how amazing it is with her eyes.
So much history. Such a rich, beautiful documentary video. Thanks for sharing!
The detail and also the memory of every piece. It really shows there's always been the idea and exact expectaction. Which makes all of them memorable pieces.
Ms. Parker, we will TAKE IT!
Omg I was hoping she’d be back!! The last one was so short.
She is FASHION. Her shoe collection is INSANE I'm sure. 😍
Loved listening to her talk about this. Also loved what she was wearing
She’s always on theme!!
There's a reason why SATC is so close to hearts. Love all characters, but stories and friendships of all girls are way more endearing 🥰💜
The history of those fashion pieces is fascinating to hear.
💚💚💚 She’s so precise and detailed with each photograph. I absolutely loved the segment and of course she looks fantastic in everyone.
The best 'looks break down' I've seen! Insightful, revealing and interesting
I would kill to go to an exhibition of her archive!!!! She is magical!!! 💖💖💖
Sarah 🧡

I was just thinking this!!! Beautiful to see a beautiful lady age so gracefully ❤️
@dalilamarilyibarra 🙌🏻🍑🧡

Agreed! She can actually move her forehead and I love her for it
@rachelZZZ8000 Amen!!

I could listen to her talking about her personal fashion history all day
She epitomises fashion...she is fashion. I was entranced...
I have never seen one of her movies but I found her and I could listen to her for HOURS!🙌🏻✨
This woman is so Iconic! I love the passion with which she does everything.
I had the privilege of seeing the magnificent Oscar de la Renta gown on display at the de Young in San Francisco some years ago. I did a silent scream inside when I saw it I was so excited!! SJP is always my favorite at the met gala 100%.
All the pieces are so beautiful!

I LOVE HER DEEP DETAILS 🥺
i love listening to her, talking about fashio! she‘s an inspiration!
Omg this vase! 🤯
She’s my favorite horse 🐎 😍
the story about Oscar de la Renta's last dress is really moving
Just love everything she does. Her voice calms me. She can wear classic to outrageous and looks good on her .
I love listening to her talk about her style and how things were put together. She’s an Angel
For some it may seem silly but I love how she pays such attention to detail when it comes to fashion. It’s more than just putting on a pretty dress to her. 7 to 8 months to prepare for The Met, what? Come on now…how fab! I could listen to her talk about clothes all day! ❤️
Fashion + Met Gala = Sarah Jessics Parker 😊❤️
Sheee is so iconiccc 😍😍😍
I love the respect and passion she has for the met…well said it’s an exhibit that invites guests to be a part of…not just a red carpet
Thank you for continuing this!
I love how she's really into fashion and details.
She is so good at this
Don’t you just love it when they explain the details ❤️
If I could meet one special person in life it would be you Sarah. You have always been my idol.
The second outfit with McQueen is so beautiful. What a fun interpretation of the theme.
Nobody takes the met more seriously than sjp and i love her for it
Imagina ser tan iconic que literal tienes un video en Vogue hablando solo de tus looks en la met gala, amo a esta mujer, la manera en la que se expresa y sus ideas sobre la moda.
i love her so much it's insane
