Hello everyone. Thanks so much for watching my Mary's Mini 10 day challenge video. Let me know in the comments below if you are doing Mary's Mini with us this month. -Joey
I used to plant my cabbage at least 2 hand widths apart. Hey, use those beautiful big outer leaves for wraps! If you take them off to use, the inner head will develop faster. 😊💁♀️👍💚🌵 fellow Arizonian here
Search for cabbage leaf recipes they are out there and you can eat those huge leaves. Helps justify how much space they take to grow if you also know you can eat those huge leaves!
I do not remember which fast food place serves rosemary with potatoes but when eating SAD, I tried them and loved them. Of course they were cooked in oil. I just brought home two bags of potatoes, one russet and one yellow. I must try this potato rosemary air fried method. Linda
Joey and Tim this was another wonderful video - thank you and I’m maki by those potatoes tonight!!! I have soooo many questions: 1. Do you have a video that discusses how you made your raised garden beds? I want to start a little backyard garden now that we’re in our new home and I loved what I saw. 2. Please provide links for the collapsible silicone strainer and the silicone pinch bowls. Loved them too. Your garden makes me excited to get my hands dirty. Thanks in advance!
Hi Yolanda. Thanks so much for the comment. Tim is enjoying learning all about doing raised bed gardening. We got our raised beds from Costco but they sell the same ones on Amazon. I know there are some DIY videos out there for people that want to make their own. Here is a link to the ones we have: amzn.to/3GerSd8 Cedarcraft Self Watering Elevated Spruce Planter
Great video Joey & Tim and a fantastic recipe. Always enjoy your video's. The gardening tips from Tim are excellent and soon will be getting back into the garden/allotment. Love 💕💞Joey & Tim.
Tim! You can harvest the outer leaves of cabbage. They are delicious. I plant cabbage exclusively for the outer leaves. I'm doing a covid mini aka eating nothing at all. sniff
We got them at Costco about a year ago. We purchased two of them. You can by them on Amazon also. Here is a link to them: amzn.to/3GerSd8 Cedarcraft Self Watering Elevated Spruce Planter
I always heard beans are too high in protein and aren't acceptable for Mary's Mini since you'd be eating them for every meal... Did this change recently?
Hi Lindsay. Yes, it did change, McDougall changed the program in 2021. I did a video about it called Mary's Mini changes and updates. Here is a link: ruclips.net/video/sLp8BnN09uw/видео.html
I'm confused. I just watched a video from a year ago and you said no fruit on Mary's Mini. This video you are saying fruit is ok? I really need to lose some weight but I love to eat and love to cook so I am hoping this will kick start my weight loss. I'm not a fan of facebook so probably won't join the group.
There was an update to the Mary's Mini where Dr. McDougall changed the plan to allow 1 serving of fruit a day. I did a second video on the updated version. It also now allows beans as a starch.

Would simple starchy veggies include ALL non starchy veggies, as long as they are cooked simply?

Do you have a link where I can download your Mary's Mini selection chart that you showed in the video? I'd like to put it on the refrigerator.

Where did you get your above ground planters? I’m looking to order some soon and trying to decide which ones.
