We had a gig, before we had even settled on the idea of having a band, we needed a name, so we used A Facebook random name generator (this was like 2009 or something) and then we used the acronym of the name it generated. We never ever thought we’d use it for so many years 😂
I usually don't say this, because many things are up to taste, but this cover is definitely better than the original!
What this shows us is Angelina’s amazing musicality. She covers so many genres so easily-even in informal recordings like this one. This is the same young girl who covers Screamin Jay Hawkins, Billie Holiday, Freddie, Elton, Elvis, Adele, and so many others with effortless authenticity for the genres and with her own stamp on everything she does. I don’t know any other singers who could do that.
I like to point to this cover when I hear people say that Angelina only sings slow songs. I think she handles the difficult rhythms in this song perfectly, with plenty of intensity and depth of feeling. AJ Monday is still my favorite day of the week.
I want her to do a best of her American Standards with Post Modern Jukebox w Scott Bradley. She's The only artist that can start her career at 18 with a best of andthology box set.
Sobering for an adult singer to note that a 12/13 yo girl has smoked a cover they've also done....😊
It's my understanding that Angelena met Mark Ronson at Quincy Jones' 85th birthday celebration and that he subsequently sent her the backing track that she used in this recording... If that's true, it's really cool... I've seen photos of her with him since then

Angelina told us she has written more than 100 songs and we have been blessed with 12 so far, each one stellar. She has sung in at least 10 genres and 4 different languages (English, Norwegian, Japanese and Spanish). Angelina is the only artist to perform twice at a Nobel Peace Prize event, before turning 18. She opened the show celebrating Quincy Jones's 85th birthday at the O2 Arena in London when she was 12 years old. The accolades can go on for pages. We remain patient awaiting her full promotion while honoring her 18th birthday by being creative in finding ways to make the world a better place.

Angelina met Mark Ronson in June 2018, at the Quincey Jones concert in London. Here she is in LA probably early 2019. Someone said that Mark sent her the backing track...
Mark worked with Amy Winehouse and Miley Cyrus, perhaps he should add Angelina to the list...
She was given the back track by the originator to use. Even then they knew she was coming up the ranks, even as a hobbyist. This is a great road trip song and you'll find yourself doing 90mph 😂

I don't know if it's the best cover, if it's better than yours. It doesn't really matter. Here's a kid who's put on a country shirt, singing a song that's not in her usual style, and it sounds like a walk in the park to her. She nails it, just like that, without trying that hard.
Angelina posted this cover 14 weeks after the original single was released (and 15 weeks _before_ the Mark Ronson album that the song would eventually appear on). The song was still in the charts at the time. She's singing this over Mark's original instrumental track, in a location that only appears in one other video that I know of (her first cover of Whitney's "I Have Nothing", which was posted the following week). The headphones and mic also appear only in that one other video (or, at least, do not match the equipment she was using in her other "recorded at home" covers when she was 12 and 13). All of these things *really* make me wonder when and where this was recorded, and whether Mark himself might have actually been involved (beyond just providing the backing track).😳
I guess I should also point out that she's wearing her hair the same way here as she did in her (CoverChannel) covers of "The Show Must Go On", "Welcome to My World", and "Moon River", posted on 2019-02-20, 2019-08-25, and 2019-09-05, respectively (all clearly recorded at home). I just realized this for the first time today. For comparison, NBLAH and IHN were posted on 2019-03-07 and 2019-03-12.

Myley Cyrus and I have been friends since she was about 14. She used to send me her videos months before they were released to the public. You know I love Angelina, but although she did it tonally perfect as only Anglina does. I do think she sang it too soft. It lacked the dynamics, emotion that Myley sang that song.

I liked her when she was younger. But now her singing is just too mannered and false. Actually back then she was always imitating singers of the past, and I hoped she would grow out of that and into her own voice. Sadly it didn't happen. But she's young enough still to leave this stuff behind and just sing well. She has the talent.
