The thing that I like about metal is that most bands will continue playing until they die and love every minute of it because they love the music and playing. Mainstream musicians most certainly will not. METAL WILL NEVER DIE!!!
C'mon mate? I'm a metal fan getting into my 50's but pop has been going since the 50's? We like one thing, they like something else. Who cares? Just enjoy music for fuck sake? I can drive about in my car and switch from Slayer to Enrique Englesias and not worry if I've lost some of my manhood :)
Just got my tix for Slayer, Anthrax,Testament, Lamb of god, Napalm Death....Im 51 And will be moshing till death..... 1st Anthrax show for me was April of 1985 Boston....Metal Church opened..... I still have a feather from the headdress and Scotts pick....big triangle pick ....worth more than gold to me...rock on peeps!
Keep it going metal head brothers. In a young 44 and have tickets to that show in NY. My first metal show was Testament in a small shit hole bar in long island when I was 15. Never turned back.
I'll never forget when Anthrax first played in Melbourne Australia in 1990(I think) at the Glass House. The crowd was sooo amped up. ..that by the 3rd song...all hell broke loose!! Anthrax just started to play Madhouse...and the place erupted! The metal barricades at front of stage just gave way..so many fans rushed onto the stage ...couldn't see the band at one point ....the band stopped mid song. ..the fire dept was called in to act as a human barricade. ..it was fuckin nuts!! Anyone else remember this night???
Mr. Z reckon was the average for most metal concerts back in the day from what I don't remember Metallica @ the horden pavilion in 88/89 had the police chopper turn up when the faithful ripped through roller doors when sound check started! 🤘
Mr. Z Melbourne had some great fans in those days. The same had happened at faith no more on the real thing tour. But the barrier didn't give way. Was abit of a sardine situation..
I just hope he stays happy, with Charlie writing almost everything musically. Kind of think that's what led to Rob leaving. Rob wanted more writing influence besides just solos. So far, seems like Jon is content mainly writing solos, based off of the riffs and main music that Charlie comes up with. I really hope it stays that way. I liked him in Shadows Fall and I like him in my favorite band, Anthrax. If it can't be Rob (who is one of the most fan friendly guys out there), I hope it stays Jon.
Anthrax is a band that I started loving after their lives... One thing is for sure.... This is a band that gives the best on the lives!!! Fucking amazing
No and neither do the rest of them. Especially Charlie. Charlie looks like he's in his 30s. Joey and Frank look great too. Love Joey. He's such a great singer and cool guy
Just as good as it was in 1987. Watching them play the entire Among the Living album in Birmingham 30 years later was a dream come true. Best Valentine's present ever.
Please release this on Blu-ray and not just DVD. First world problems, I know, but I can't imagine watching something on my big screen TV in standard definition this day and age. A Blu-ray version of this would be a day one purchase for me.
His #1 favorite ANTHRAX moment was December 6th 1997 Tampa Fla. USA was an opening band, Coal Chamber, Anthrax, & Pantera (headlined). During Anthrax's set Phil Anslemo came and did a CELTIC FROST cover with them
6th grade about 88/89 ish . My yellow Sony Walkman, steel connector for headphones your hair would pinch OUCH! this tape was on constant play snowboarding every weekend. It really was a good time for hard rock and metal mainstream in the 80s and early 90s .Then bands like Faith no more broke out. Metallica Justice album to black. I went to both time they came 1989 Mass. Some band never heard of Queensryche? 😮 opening new OPERATION MIND CRIME album (Holy shit !) Second The Cult opened Sonic Temple, unreal . Peak time for them, it was short imo because the singer is a bit neurotic. Also got to see Testament and Nuclear Assault Boston orpheum. 1990 Channel Boston Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus plus some no name band opening up. Got there early a nice sunny fall day. The guitarist and drummer with opening band walk up to my bro and I. I just turned 14, brother was 15. Parents just dropped us off ❤️👍. Guitar player says "wanna check out our new tour bus?" I was kinda like "um ok", but they were really friendly nice to us. I could tell they were in awe with their accomplishments . We step up on to the tour bus, walk up look around and it's nice but what I expected. I'm thinking "Where's Mike Muirs bus?" We say thanks, back in line. So 1.5 hr later we head IN, the bus guys were going on first .No joke, exaggeration this band leveled the place! We should have just left after. That band was PANTERA. RIP DIME /Vinny 😢
Saw them play the Slayer farewell show in Toronto. Was planning on having a few beers w friends but ended up running to the floor to hit the pit. One does not simply stand still for Anthrax 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

*HOLY SHIT!* 🤘 They're killing it LIVE just like they never aged?!? 🍻 This was my skateboard punk years & those epic days are long long gone. I never thought I would see a world so full of shills and posers, but at least I lived in a time before sell-outs, clout chasers & reality stars existed.
I have tickets to see Anthrax with Slayer, Lamb Of God and Obituary in Wembley in November!! First time seeing Anthrax, Lamb Of God and Obituary. I'm 16 and already seen Slayer 2 times: Sonisphere UK 2011, Sonisphere UK 2014!! CAN'T WAIT!!
So grateful to be able to enjoy this with this line up by today. Sad, though, they never found a match in terms of perfection for the lead guitar of Dan Spitz. But who cares, they are doing great again, after having sucked all those years after State of Euphoria. And they still are, thus, always will be, the greatest Thrash Metal band of all time, period.

Mainstream artists continuing performing live until they pass on is not impossible, though.

I feel older (i really hope you take no offense) metal heads are much more fun to hang around with❤🤘🤘🤘
Keep it going metal head brothers. In a young 44 and have tickets to that show in NY. My first metal show was Testament in a small shit hole bar in long island when I was 15. Never turned back.
UnholyUndies i played sax for many years. . Took me some time to figure out what I liked. He would love a metal show. .. good luck
Metal Church is Back and Better....hopefully an Anthrax & Metal Church Tour ? !
Ive seen Anthrax so many times, they always put on a show. Its definitely worth a ticket price!
XxCHRISchaosxX I saw them for $35
Yeah they have never let me down live. Good sound on this
I've seen them with John and with Joey. Joey was better to me. The band is always good though and Charlie is one of my favorite drummers
Put this next to Domination in the category of live tracks that crush the studio recordings
TinyViking true that brother
Also indians
And creeping death
I'd disagree, the loudness of the bass in the original makes it perfect
Anesthesia Pulling Teeth live at the metro beats its studio version very well
Anthrax is the most consistent band in big 4. They always sound so good.
Scott’s energy is on a whole other level
Is anyones happier, mores excited to go to work?
Hands down thee best ANTHRAX song ever recorded.
It is my favorite #1 song of all time.
Im a huge ANTHRAX fan
I'll never forget when Anthrax first played in Melbourne Australia in 1990(I think) at the Glass House.

This is the best live version of this song from start with Scott Ian and drummer and great solo.
I've seen them live a few times and they know how to put on a show. Charlie is an exceptional drummer.
Charlie is the best drummer..and is fckn fast and tight...an old drummer😊
makes me happy to see that Jon is still in Anthrax, he's a great fit for them since shadows fall unfortunately stopped making music.
I just hope he stays happy, with Charlie writing almost everything musically. Kind of think that's what led to Rob leaving. Rob wanted more writing influence besides just solos. Crushing it in their fifties!
Except for Donais he hasn't hit 40 yet.
joseph bernard me too
Kings of Thrash!!!🤘🤘🤘
And DRI.
I just love the build up and when Charlie Benante just bangs the drum to the main riff, just so freaking cool.
he is always in the pocket, speed, precision.
The most recogniseable chord ever🤘
The fact that Frankie can play this whilst running around on stage like a lunatic makes me realize how much I suck for as long as I've been playing.
dude scott ian has some of the best riffs
In the big 4, Anthrax and Slayer are my favourites!
I see you're a man of culture as well
Going in order of least to most favourite
Slayer
Metallica
Anthrax
Megadeth
Mine is anthrax and MetallicA
Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer!
1) slayer 2) anthrax 3)megadeth/anthrax
The bass player over the years does not change, his vampire bit?)
Yeah and Frank is underrated as a bass player imo
My feelgood song. This just makes me so happy I can't help but smile. Fuck I love Anthrax
Amazing sound, Best than ever...
Great to see them still rocking hard after all these years!
Anthrax is a band that I started loving after their lives... One thing is for sure.... This is a band that gives the best on the lives!!! Fucking amazing
This is a song I can’t help but headbang every time I hear it
I love Metal Rock❤
and this BAND
Vocalist's voice is so COOL‼️‼️
First anthrax song I ever heard!
Who would think the day would come that you’d have 50-something men performing heavy metal?
Does Scott Ian even age?
MrTechselect Only his beard ages.
No
Well he did have a full head of hair... then only one spot. Now nothing... so maybe lol
He gave up his hair in exchange for immortality
No and neither do the rest of them. Especially Charlie. Charlie looks like he's in his 30s. Joey and Frank look great too. Love Joey. He's such a great singer and cool guy
Just as good as it was in 1987. Watching them play the entire Among the Living album in Birmingham 30 years later was a dream come true. Best Valentine's present ever.
They have such great live shows...I had the pleasure of seeing them with Avatar and death angel
Charlie is so fast sometimes, I wouldn’t be surprised if wormhole portals are opening up around him. Anthrax fan for life. 🤘😲
Love Anthrax. Saw them live in Cologne!
ANTHRAX deserves so much more!!
Yes un super groupe de métal !!!!
Awesome guitar sound!
Simple riffs are usually the best.
Please release this on Blu-ray and not just DVD. First world problems, I know, but I can't imagine watching something on my big screen TV in standard definition this day and age. A Blu-ray version of this would be a day one purchase for me.

Ian Scott is a guitar teenager, energetic but pretty stupid.

Or suffer, for your words
Learn, to give respect
That others, give to you
Ahh, the best you can do
Hey man, I'm trying to reason but you don't understand
Talking in circles, we'll never get it straight
Just you and me in our theatre of hate
Can't stand it for another day
I ain't gonna live my life this way
Cold sweat, my fists are clenching
Stop, stop, stop, the idiot convention
Which one of these words don't you understand?
