In Illinois, JB Pritzger gives Drivers Licenses to Anyone and Everyone. So it’s NO Surprise there are Crazy Drivers ALL over including around RX Crossings. 🤪👎
@@Southern_Plains_Railfan Yes all those 3. they were made out of a wreck. The others were the 4000s and 4100s which were B30-7As. they had a small fleet of 600 series GP9Bs and the had the 2249 the only Gp38-2B made also out of a wreck. During BNSF merger of course they got the ATSF 300 series GP60Bs.
SPR, it’s me, I have been here since you had 400 subs. I loved that you railfanned in OKC and where I did like the Norman station. I have a question, did you get any other photos of the CPKC patch, or if there was another patched loco.
Hey Tramtrak, thanks for sticking around so long! No, that one photo of the CPKC patch is all I have seen, and I haven't seen any other patched engines. It's not really my photo, its a screenshot from a railcam; hence the low quality.
GReat hornshow, Shave and a hair cut two bits is what I heard, if it was a s&hc your really lucky because not many engineers know that, I've only ever had two!
I spend A LOT of time at west Colton and they are rapidly building manifests with stacks and junk. I love that you respect the executive MAC. By far my favorite. The luck of the Irish! Great catches as always!!!
I grew up in socal. Bonnet's and SP with the pink nose. Never any green. Great catch with the NS heritage. Uncle pete seems to be the only other company that really gives them a run for their money in that department. I just don't get how there isn't one big blue Conrail or a seaboard running around. Keep that merch link up. Absolutely love the vids
I sometimes chase trains outside of the town I live in. There is this one crossing that goes down about 2 minutes before the train gets there. And I have seen so many people just go around the crossing. It doesn’t matter how far the train is, still not smart
I know this seems exciting to you. I worked as a brakeman, conductor and engineer for 22 years. The guys and gals get treated poorly. The company has no respect for private or family life. The execs make all the money. In short BNSF is a terrible organization to work for. Sorry to spill on you but my point of you is much different.
Loving your videos ...really enjoy how you explain things as you do...I'm a huge ATSF/BNSF fan from Tasmania ,Australia and even trying to model a transition era layout...These vids are gold ....Cheers
Merch, anyone? okieprint.com/SPR/shop/home
6:36 6:40 unborchinetly
7:29 FWWR
6:30 heen then
SPR, you are one of the best railfan’s on RUclips, keep making your videos!
Thank you so much, I certainly will!

they are the only SD40-2Bs left on the roster because they were the only SD40-2Bs created. They are not the same thing as the GE B30-7As
Nah, BNSF had a small fleet of SD40-2B's in it's early days. They were all ex-BN.

@@Southern_Plains_Railfan oh gotcha
10:56 late comment but I caught that train all the way from Southern California, It was a Los Angeles Bound. Symbol was Q-NYCLAC6-31A
This should be a show on PBS, just so calm and educational and absolutely perfect
H1 Dash 9 is cool and same as H2

great vid.
Edit: got to the part where the driver gave a horn salute. Glad to see at least some drivers have a sense of humour.
For sure; thank you!
58 is a TEBC6 made from an SD9 and they are basically traction motors with a cab and used to always be used on hump sets.
Nice catch on NYC heritage unit
Thanks!

Interesting. So glad you liked the MAC! Thank you!

Too bad the BNSF DASH 8 will be at the scrap yard
Wowsers awesome video and catches 📸😊
Thank you!
it used to have ten times more variety between 1998 and 2010. these days whats left seems to be that....just what is left.
Those trash cars might be on their way to the northwest as BNSF has a huge trash energy operation there
Interesting
I’ve seen 58 and 1877 paired together

Common Sense...what a great thought. Unfortunately this country is running out of it at an exponential rate!
Somehow 1066 ended up west of Houston.
H1 is my favorite paint scheme. I like 965s paint the most, and IMO, it should be the standard scheme. The green and orange go pretty well together!

Uncle Warren is a wonderful man.

Wow! What a great day being at Galesburg! I always want to go there. See some awesome old locomotives that’s still in service. Great video!
Thank you! Yeah, Galesburg is just nuts. I think it definitely would be worth the trip, there's always amazing stuff there.
Was that first autorack on the first train an NS or something else, i paused the video and it seems to say PWE
That’s a Providence and Worcester autorack. The P&W is a shortline based in New England. (MA, RI, and maybe CT)
Huh, never heard of it, thanks for the information
NICE CATCHES!!!!
Thanks!
come to Mississippi pls 😢😢
i just saw ns 1066 2 days ago
Oh boy time to go try to catch NYC Unit for the 4th time
The footage in this video was taken weeks ago. 1066 is already back on NS tracks.
@@Southern_Plains_Railfan Of course lol
Nice Video.
Thanks!
Wow I love it!!!!!
Thank you!
Nice catch of the 883! It just passed me on the BRC!
Thanks! That's cool, did you get good photos of it?
@@Southern_Plains_Railfan I sure did!
Do transfer trains ever make it back home to there mainlines?
Hey SPR, when will you do a face reveal?
6:52 BNSF 1458 cameo no way???
The ole shave and a haircut salute
One quick hair cut for a solute
Lol
