  • Australian Army Sappers from the 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment joined engineers and tradespeople from the British Army, New Zealand Army and Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) for Exercise Puk Puk at Moem Barracks, Wewak, Papua New Guinea.
    Exercise Puk Puk is an annual engineering activity intended to strengthen ties between the ADF and PNGDF, building capability and relationships, as well as providing infrastructure.

    Once an Australian colony, then saviours on the Kokoda track in WW2, and now a growing economy thanks to Aussie support.
