More than a few people dont seem to get how the erasing of the circle thing worked. Nail inside the circle means spirits entering the circle burn. Nail outside the circle means spirits exiting the circle burn. Turbo granny was inside a circle with a nail on the outside, so she couldnt leave. Second circle was drawn around it and then the inner circle was erased, meaning the nail is now on the inside of a circle, which made turbo granny burst into flames
@@gliscaradu1424everyone’s default thing is “manga explained it better”. No, the manga “explained” it better cuz the reader can control the pacing and therefore could sit and ruminate on what was happening whereas anime watchers cannot. Hence why ppl claim things are less “explicit”. No, they’re just not spoon fed cuz it’s an adaption of a written work.
@@BelBelle468, I know you haven't heard of this (because why else would you make this argument), but there's a thing called a pause button. You use it to pause a recording or animation. I hope this helps!
@@BelBelle468 true. Although, it's not that they cannot do so coz U can always pause the video 4 a bit and think. But thing is, people watching anime and other forms of video content generally don't pause even if they encounter something they r confused about. Nor do they rewind and rewatch those parts. Unless it's too mind blowing like a certain scene in S2 of Attack on Titan
I like that Momo's battle outfit at the end still references the shrine maiden colours granny put her in - the red and white - so it's kinda like wearing your flag or team colours still, just in her own fly style
4:25 About the attack - she had the first circle with the nail outside that was keeping TG inside, then drew a second circle that contained the nail AND the first circle, then she erased the first circle, causing TG to be inside a circle with the nail inside, ie within its burning effect
Listen, my mother is in her fifties- 55- and people still think she's in her mid to late 40s. I wasn't surprised by how young this grandma is, I'm surprised by how surprised everyone else is. I'm so worried for Caleb and Jason when they see episode 7...
Pretty much everyone in the anime remarks on how abnormally young she looks, to the point of being unnatural, so I don't know why you're surprised that other people are surprised when they clearly expect people to be surprised.
Momo Ayase is my favourite female character in shonen after just the 7 episodes like, she's just so enjoyable. she's extremely useful with a very interesting personality
I really think that there needs to be more appreciation for the 2 and 1/2 minutes or so worth of background "I'm seriously going to crap myself" grunts and groans and other guttural noises that were going on while the whole conversation about Momo's powers went on. I don't know much about the recording process, but what I'd like to believe is that the VA was asked to go to the back corner of the room and improv those pre-disaster noises while they were recording the normal coversation.
Imagine if somebody made a sorta crossover of, I don’t know, MIB and ghostbusters, and different agents are forced to work together, but their respective organizations don’t believe in existence of each other, like ghost and aliens.
They are the first people I’ve seen who place so much importance on the location bound spirit. 😂 They are the first to think Turbo Granny IS the location bound spirit.
Training arc? No, kiddo, we're doing this tonight.
She smelled some protagonist bullshit brewing and put a stop to that real quick.
Dandadan in a nutshell
Words cannot explain how happy that made me😂
they do train tho, is just that turbo granny was that petty
"She's doki doki. She's dandadaning"
That line is so funny xD

it was explained in the manga much better

The curse being a symbol for Okarun’s emotional dependency is a really cool thought in retrospect. What a great discussion!
"What is her skin care routine?!" a Question I've been asking on repeat since watching this episode
The wait for the Cat will be their Dandadan version of the wait for Beatrix in Zom100
Then they'll be so blind they'll go "that's not the cat" and it'll be the Emperor from Apothecary Diaries all over again
That day humanity remembered that badass grandmas are not to be messed with

"i once saw her kill 3 ghosts in a bar... With a pencil..."
So for anyone wondering, the grandma's actual age is still unknown
after ep7 i'm starting to think her age might not just being a joke
It's amazing that they apparently now know EVERYTHING about the world of Dandadan after 3 episodes!
Well, technically with a series of teenage mothers, you could have a 40 something grand grandmother. It could happen.
Famous Japanese actor who is Ken Takakura have a tipical word "so Im clumsy "😂

Turbo-Babaa is real(?) ghost in Hokkaido.
"therse no way this is grandma, right?"
