No one is entitled to anyone supporting you and buying your music etc. People can keep their money in their pockets if they want. Koffee can go either way with her branding. She can keep it as is, change with a makeover going in the more socially accepted or even lean in further into the agenda. Whichever she thinks will benefit her most or make her happy or the most money she'll probably do.
Koffee music is great and will withstand time as she is super talented and has a great body of work. Allow her time and grace to come back on the scene. She may be doing shows overseas or just taking a break. Either way she will be successful. Blessings

If Jamaicans think that Koffee is Rastafarian, it shows how disconnected most Jamaicans are from knowing real Rastafarians. Also, the only people who care about her lesbianism are Jamaicans, the rest of the big wide world aren't as judgmental, we have our opinions, but we leave the judgements to God, if he has something to say about it, let him deal with it, us humans all have to share this planet together regardless of sexuality. Face it, outside of a few Reggae artists like Ziggy, Morgan Heritage and a couple others, the music has shifted to Africa. Koffee gwan wid it. Do your thing. Reggae music is not for gay people. It will not last I don't care what song they make. Bob Marley entered into a genre that represents who he and the people is in every way not coffee. She entered into a genre that is set one way from the time it started. LoL. Confusion is not of God and conscious reggae music especially when you coming with locks.
What do u mean by raggae is not for gay ppl. Cos gay ppl do listen to raggae and some do make raggae. Not on a mainstream level but yes.. U don't want to listen to a gay person fine, but dont say it's not for gay ppl.
If yuh walk and quack like a duck, then you identify as a duck... but you are NOT a duck. I neva hear her seh Rasta, which would show in her livity. Sometimes it is our expectations of individuals that disappoint us. Nuff people identify with/as Rasta because the other choices are dismal.
She went against the teachings of His Majesty. Her mind became confused so much so that she forgot what was her role as a female. Most disappointing also is that the people around her (certain Rastamen at that) did not counsel her into staying on a righteous path. That said, I hope she will be able to clean up certain things and go out there and retake what is rightfully hers.

There is a whole reggae loving community throughout the world thats is NOT Jamaican, so her career is NOT over. And even among Jamaicans many people don't care about these issues some people are distracted by.
The main thing this man said is: STAY FOCUSED! FOCUSED on who you are as an artist! FOCUSED on who you are and the direction you want to go, not where others see you. Bob Marley is a good example of that and DMX!! listen to DMX's struggle and what they said about his music. It was too gritty for air play. He should change it. He said he wasn't changing shit and became the biggest rap artist with an original sound and style.
I wouldn’t say her career is dead but she did damage her career. They used her to push an agenda for real, especially when she did the song with Sam Smith. When some of these Jamaican artist cross over they loose themself, Shenseea was also a victim to this as well. She can still come back but many Jamaicans will look at her side ways.
True rastafarian remain faithful to the belief. Coffee fashioned her hair as looking to be a rasta, wearing locs, she did not profess to be a rastafarian. Many women loc their hair, to avoid using chemical products. She is a great artist, just too unfortunate she has drifter.
I really appreciate what you said and the maturity in how you said it. Artists are artist and should be able to express their music how they want to. The music business is a business and music videos don't make money or music alone doesnt make money. You make money thru sales, merch, brand deals or tours ect. Koffee would make a killing at pride, but she has to accept herself 1st. The Caribbean has been horrible to queer artist example Dalton Harris immensely talented but only one song out since he won X factor and constantly receives hate due to his sexuality. In order for us to grow and have more artist doing well on the world stage, we need drop our own prejudices and support the artist instead of judging them because they don't fit what we want them to be. Being in Canada as well I see unity and togetherness in the other races more than blacks and its sad. One day at a time. Great message and video.👍🏾👏🏽👌🏾
My fav Koffee song: Run Away. I have all songs on my phone that she ever appeared on except that last one with Sam Smith. Im still holding hope that she is working on good music.
I love her, she is a talented artist, I hate that people get so judgemental, lately it seems as Jamaicans really are judgemental, from talking bad about a talented artist like Koffee to Buju talking bad about Afrobeats, and I really love reggae music, but if negativity and judgement is what it's about, yall can keep it.
Got the notification and clicked hear what you were saying in an instant. It’s a good video, strongly opinionated and I appreciate the perspective. All I can say is Reggae acts aren’t known to drop projects frequently. It’s unheard of in the industry…man like Proto and his crew are probably some of the most active as well as the indie reggae acts we have in JA too. Koffee is signed to Columbia which means the next project may be on the way 3/4 years after the debut which isn’t weird. She has been picking up steam in places like the UK and some parts of Africa as well through the collaborations she has been involved in. Jamaican people cya suh blind because from you know Koffee you know…suh when she started incorporating her personal exploits in the music I don’t see why everyone was so surprised because I knew it was only a matter of time. She’s extremely talented and I believe that her and the team she has will ensure she grows. She has a whole EP and Album out already in 5 years plus she went on tour and has been doing promo too. I don’t think her career has ended and she won’t ever be a flop. The people she has been associated with KNOWS about her sexuality LOOOOL. I refuse to believe anything else anyone says. She has a long way to go though in gaining the respect from the locals like she had in her earlier years though and I hope they’ll give her some grace because she’s still young. Wishing her the best honestly🙏🏽.
Well said. My concern is that after taking such a long break, can she pick up right where she left off and continue to become bigger. Only time will tell.

Koffee is young she'll be fine and she can survive in the Hollywood world and find new audiences. She is free to do whatever she wants to do and people are also free to not listen to her or support her.
Real talk my youth. Bless up from Africa.

Koffee's best option is to leave Jamaica entirely and move into American music.
You know how we stay brother. As caribbean people your personal life matters more than your talent. And she never say Rastafari.

Koffee doesn’t need Jamaica to accept her or her music in order to be on top again‼️There is America, Europe and all of AFRICA. Remember it was England and the US that accepted Bob first. Jamaica thought Rastas were dirty people up in the hills talking foolishness. Face it, outside of a few Reggae artists like Ziggy, Morgan Heritage and a couple others, the music has shifted to Africa.
Koffee gwan wid it. Do your thing. All Jamaicans know to do is tear down not build up. When it hits in NY, London, Amsterdam, Lagos, who gives a damn about people who are concerned about what she does in her bedroom.

That song with Sam Smith make me done wid koffee
If yuh walk and quack like a duck, then you identify as a duck... but you are NOT a duck. I neva hear her seh Rasta, which would show in her livity. Sometimes it is our expectations of individuals that disappoint us. Nuff people identify with/as Rasta because the other choices are dismal.

Killa been said it walk like a duck and duck batty - is a battyman. And when you pay fi duck music you support it. Fireeeee

That song that she did during the pandemic definitely had me pausing the video and walking away. Haven't listened to her since
There is a whole reggae loving community throughout the world thats is NOT Jamaican, so her career is NOT over.
Wow, just yesterday I was wondering what happened to Koffee 😮. This is going to be an interesting watch ❤.
She got decaffeinated😂😂😂😂
I believe she is in the studio
Talk truth bro 👍.
Truth be told koffee job / profession is in the field of music .But its the music world of work . But guess what ! regular John public in there own workplaces and things don't always run smooth .There are ups and downs One has to navigate hills and valleys and i guess it's no different for koffee But one too many naysayers can't compute that Koffee is just a young individual who happens by chance to be born in Jamaica .She's not involved in a national team sport or a Olympian where one has to flag wave or overstate she is Jamaican or overstate she represents dancehall or represents reggae . . The music industry for every genre is a fickle business
Koffee having more or less success is "neither here no there" regardless of the fact she is Jamaican .Folk calling this young lady flop is pretty pureil But worse still is folk who grab for most overused mantra in Jamaica " sell out , she sells out ja. ... .At such a young age it's pretty unfair to expect koffee to be all things to all people .
