Pascal I am so sorry you are going through this, and I can completely relate. Since I was 8 (I'm 20 now) I have suffered from chronic headaches, I have spent weeks upon weeks in hospitals, emergency rooms, and doctors offices in this time. I couldn't even count the amount of scans and tests that have been done, it is all so draining and painful. My symptoms are the same as what you are describing, and it took a team of neurologists, primary care physicians and nurses to figure out how I should deal with this pain. Over ten years, and over a dozen types of types of medications the headaches are mostly under control. I just wanted to tell you that this video is so relatable to me in so many ways and I hope you can learn to control this problem sooner than I did. No one deserves such pain and I am glad you took the time to share this with us. I hope my story helps you in some way.

Sorry to hear about your news. Good for you both to have each other to go through everything together. Hope you'll get well soon Pascal and hopefully, it won't be too bad. Remember Bryan, some changes maybe hard but not every changes are bad as some could either help out a lot, interesting or at least something to try out. Regardless, everything will be ok. They will be ok. Both of you will become stronger as you all move forward with the cards you have to handle whatever you all are going through :).

Oh Brian and pascal, I want to just give you guys a big hug esp. Pascal. I know what you mean on the headaches, I get them a lot. Mine are caused by High Triglycerides. I have a genetic disorder, my body does not process fat. so Triglycerides are to me 150 or less, this past week labs showed 22,000. Yes that's right 22,000. So my blood is mostly liquid fat.
Anyway, I am so sorry about your issues. I love you guys so much and wish I could do more for you. I pledge $25 a month. I will be going over things and will try to give more. Side note on you scan you had done. Talk to the hospital and see what charity programs they have. Mine has a write off program and they wrote off a $5,000 MRI I had done. All hospital have a certain amount of Patient write off's they can do a year.
I hope you feel better soon and I will have you in my thought's and prayer's. I care a lot about you guys and if I can ever do anything for you I will.
I know from personal experience how wearing it can be when pain interferes with your life (even if it's only nuisance pain and not threatening), and it's even worse when the medical profession can't figure out what the answers are.....
My heart goes out to both of you, and all my prayers are for your health, Pascal!

Doctors aren't trained well to deal with pain. I've had much better care from LPN nurses.
Also, look into chronic pain management techniques. The emotional strain and physical stress caused by the pain can be addressed even before the diagnosis is worked out. Anxiety, depression, and pain can too easily get linked together into an ongoing cycle. I have two chronic conditions and learning to break the anxiety cycle has been an amazing benefit.

Sad to hear about your headaches, Pascal. I have the same problem, if you can call it this way. Actually, a few years ago my headaches were far more terrible, but maybe I'm just getting used to it. I was really terrified the first time I had a season headaches that lasted for a couple of weeks, because the pain was almost unbearable. I also don't like doctors so I didn't visit one, but later my headaches returned again. So I had a brain scan and it was clear, and I was sooo confused at that time not able to work and study. But I took a cervical spine X-ray picture (not sure how to translate it correctly) and it appeared to be some kind of problem with cervical vertebrae and nerves. This thing isn't fatal and can be treated.
I hope this information might help you somehow. Take care :)

I do not know if this will help, but I have similar symptoms and have been diagnosed with something called cluster headaches. It feels like needles being stuck into my head, and it's only one side of my head, that being my right side. It feels like hell, and I've had it since I was 7. I'm 14 now, but it happens in periods of weeks. It comes back every now and then, but it hasn't so far. I'm not sure if this is any relatable to you, Pascal, but Imma give some tips to avoid these overall. Avoid things with caffeine and high amounts of fat for a bit. It has helped me so much for a while. Drink lots of water and sleep a lot too. Do not listen to music at very high volumes, and most importantly, try not to get stressed. I'm not a doctor, but this is what I do when I'm having my headaches. I hope you feel better, Pascal. Stay strong and I love you both ❤️❤️

Consider this a big hug, boys. Medical stuff is never any fun. I hope the results are good and that your condition can be dealt with quickly and easily. You guys are very lucky to have each other when things go bad. I've had to deal with things pretty much on my own but I'm lucky enough to have great friends to get me through. In two weeks I have to have surgery for a condition that has been going on for quite a long time. It's one of those surgeries that will take a while to recover from so although it will be good to have it over with and taken care of getting through the bad parts won't be fun.
Anyway...I hope things go well for the both of you. Remember that you have a lot of subscribers who love you and are sending you good vibes....

Hi guys, I am sorry that you are going through all of this. I'm not sure what Canada's medical protocol is, but here in the states we have what's called medical Social Workers that can help not only the patient but the family as well. Often these types of medical issues can affect everyone in the family. The one piece of advice I can give: make sure that all of the doctors you are seeing are communicating with one another. It's too easy for each doctor to only be focused on what they are doing and I've seen at times their medical interventions be counter-productive. This is especially true in cases where you are going to "walk in" clinics or specialists who are out of touch with the other physicians treating you. (I am a pediatric neuro- psych). It's a good idea to write down each medication you are taking , the dosages etc and whether you are taking the generic or medicinal dosages. Even if you think they have this information in your chart, you'd be surprised at how many times doctors forget to check and will prescribe something that may not get along with what you are currently taking. And lastly (and probably the most difficult part), I think it's wonderful that Bryan is so incredibly supportive and loving. But it's imperative that you get your own therapist if you've not done so already Pascal. You are going through some incredibly scary situations which create their own stressors which exacerbate an already stressful and scary time for you. As much as Bryan loves you, he cannot and should not be the person to provide you your support. Bryan, I think you are awesome. I've always respected your openness and love you have for your partner. From what I've seen over the years that I've been watching your vlogs/videos you can be somewhat controlling and overbearing when it comes to Pascal's health. I see Pascal "cringe" at times when you are attempting to provide him with support. He might not have the strength to tell/ask you to please stop. If you really want to help... Get a THERAPIST. There are many different types of clinicians; each providing a different type and level of care. Right now, with what you are going through, my first inclination would be that a LCSW (clinical licensed social worker) would be a better choice for you. People often misconstrue seeing the DR or MD and assume they must be a better choice and sometimes they are, but not always. Anyway, the best of luck to you both. I know how traumatic something like this is to go through. I just want to make sure that you are going to the correct type of doctor to get the help you need.

does anyone know if pascal had his brain scan results back because i have asked twice on their various social medias but not had a reply, which i didn't really expect but i haven't seen any updates about this since and am just wondering if anyone knew if Pascal is ok with reference to this brain scan.
I had something very similar. Really bad headaches every day, the kind that made me just want to lay down all the time. People in the rest of the world seem to think that the UK Health Service is awful but I went to see my GP who referred me for a brain scan and I got the results all within a month (and of course I didn't have to pay anything because we pay for our health service through taxes) - it was chronic migraine. I was prescribed a preventative medication called propranolol (I think its a beta blocker). I've been taking one tablet a day for 18 months and I never get headaches like I used to. I might still get a very mild one occasionally but they are the type I can deal with and carry on living. I hope Pascal gets some results soon as its horrible to live with and that he gets better.

I used to have daily headaches for years. It goes away after taking 2 aspirins. But it'll happen the next day again but goes away after 2 pills. Usually I wake up with the headache and the pain is in the back of my head. I used to live with a very tight budget and was feeling very stressed about that. Then one day I got a new job and a better pay and was less worried about the money. I then noticed that my headaches are completely gone after all these years of daily pain. It really surprised me. Could it be just linked to the worries and stress unconsciously? Of course I get headache once in a while now but not on a daily basis anymore. I live in Montreal and love watching your videos. Hoping the best for Pascal.
If you blast your body with peppermint (tea, Altoids, or the peppermint candies) it might help with the pain of your headaches and it will help with your stomach feeling bad because peppermint can be used for headaches and stomach upsets. I hope you feel better ^_^
That is an opioid, be very careful about addiction.
My dad just went through the same thing and he just found out he had a very bad sinus infection that normal antibiotics wouldn't touch it so higher antibiotics and a shot...I hope you feel better soon
Dear Pascal. I am living in Poland. And i'm working in hospital. And I don't understand one thing: that doctors take You a very strong medicines without diagnose? In the case of very strong headache we must diagnosed many possibilities. Because headaches can have many causes. You need to do ophthalmic examinations, you have done resonance also neck vertebrae, blood flow test in the neck and head vessels. Make a general blood and urine test. And regularly 3 times a day examine and record your blood pressure. I know that you have heart problems so that might be the reason. Is the defect so large that it is not suitable for surgical treatment? Because usually in childhood, these types of defects are corrected surgically. Please keep me informed about the results of your research and your health. I will try to tell you what to do. I wish you health and I very much love you both
well i am sure it wont be any thing serious i have been getting chronic migraines from over a decade and when it started it was once a month or so and i was told its genetic so i was put on different pain killers . as my brain scan were normal and all other tests. but from the past few years i have tried all the pain killers from mild to strongest . and also my blood pressure used to get really high during my pain which now stays almost 18-20 hoours er day.
my scans have been repeated and they are clear along side with all my blood tests . now there is only one test left to do which is called lamber puncture which is scaring me alot and so far in past few months i havent gotten the appointment for it which i hope i will get soon. but mean while i have been put on a new medicine called Maxalt THAT doesnt stop the migrian from happening but it helps during the pain to cut short its time .
i know its so hard to live with a non stop chronic pain that doesnt go away even while you are sleeping i hope you will get some good answer and reason for all this and it wont be something bad news. all the best
I love health hacks....I have MS, i strongly suggest you be your own health advocate! This is going to sound crazy but i want you to try it, these things wont hurt you, wont interfere with your meds. Meds are not usually the best answer btw, most ppl dont know 70% of all meds are synthisized (badly) from herbs. Big pharma cant make any money on herbs that work better than meds.... I use theraneem brand NEEM toothpaste (everyone dump your crap paste, this stuff heals teeth & gums!), when i brush at night before bed it kills my recurring sinus infection so i can sleep better! Also i suggest you start taking QUALITY organic virgin or extra virgin Unprocessed Coconut oil (i like Dua Dua Brand), take a tablespoon with food 3 times a day. This oil is anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti viral AND it passes thru the blood brain barrier! It has MANY other uses (including great sex lube - dont use it with condoms)....see youtube vids for more info P.S. whenever anyone takes pain meds you have to drink plenty of water with them cuz they are rough on kidneys, docs dont tell you enough... ugh.

im not a doctor but my guess might b a tumor or assist. praying its neither. as for the doctor they need to b striped of their degree cause no real doctor dismisses u without proper diagnosis.

What an awful medical system and diagnostic procedure. Also, not wise to tell 'strangers' that you have narcotics as you could be victimized by criminal addicts and even friends and sadly often by family.
