After the first season, you need a rebrand with new jerseys, indoor stadium, crisp logo, etc and you wont have to put guns to the heads of new recruits to come to DVSU but maybe 110° weather breeds champs?
The funny thing is Anthony Edwards is the back up quarterback for Utah State and he is a basketball player in real life and he is going to the NBA draft

So this is just a thought. In order to run the option you need multiple running threats which you don’t have. In fact it looks likes the best runner on the team is Goodwin. Consider moving Goodwin to running back and starting Martinez at QB. Also, the short quick pass game had some success against Bama. That may be your best bet considering your receives cannot get open down the field.

So I've told a story about the underdog Michael Wilson doing his best to be the best QB he can be despite his lack of athletic gifts, and how Antwon Goodwin tries his best to be a role-player, but we really should give props for the man who had the starting job in the first place, JT Martinez. Clearly the most talented QB the Dingos had available, being a decent athlete and thrower of the football (not as terribly inaccurate as say Goodwin even though Wilson's practice puts him ahead) from his time playing baseball as well. Always a team player, he's proud of his understudies carrying the torch while he tries to recover from his injury, but with the severe lack of depth, and a desire to help his team win in any way possible, he pleads with the coach to be out there at WR during some plays, keeping himself well wrapped up to keep his broken ribs together. Goodwin was able to connect with him for a touchdown last week, and while he couldn't be as much help this week, he's willing to put his body on the line for his coach, his team, and the Dingos program. JT Martinez was named the leader of this squad for a reason, and he's shown real grit to try to help them become a winning team. Hasn't occurred yet, but he'll continue trying even while he's unable to be the one under center.
Every other NCAA team: Maybe we could win the natty, maybe we make a bowl game either way it'll be a fun season The Dingos: Why are we here? Just to suffer?
