Tony Atlas, whom I find credible, stated this guy was one of the wrestlers in the locker room when Brody was murdered in the locker room. Atlas said everybody knew what just happened but did nothing. Atlas had to carry Brody out of the locker room to put him in the ambulance. When Atlas returned from the hospital, all of the wrestlers, including cowboy here, were laughing it up, cracking jokes as if nothing ever happened. Atlas never returned to his hotel room after some local wrestlers tipped him off that "they" were waiting in Atlas' hotel room to kill him.

Dave Meltzer, being a member of that group, broke the news in the Observer, which was how most of the American fans found out. Dutch was correct that the news was all over the internet, just not on the world wide web.

Minus the website comment, Dutch knows much better than Hogan. Having said that, I have heard in multiple interviews that some wrestlers were afraid to go back or testify. or even give witness statements.

This guy is the one lying and saying stuff that doesn't make sense. He talks about knowing the verdict on Brody's murder trial because "it hit the web." Brody died in 1988. Then he says that the hotel room being tossed was a lie because it's no big deal, that you can get the room service to clean it up. Tossing the room was meant as a message not to make him clean it up. Then apparently, just because the identity of the gun man was never revealed, the event never happened. Tony Atlas, whom I find credible, stated this guy was one of the wrestlers in the locker room when Brody was murdered in the locker room. Atlas said everybody knew what just happened but did nothing. Atlas had to carry Brody out of the locker room to put him in the ambulance. When Atlas returned from the hospital, all of the wrestlers, including cowboy here, were laughing it up, cracking jokes as if nothing ever happened. Atlas never returned to his hotel room after some local wrestlers tipped him off that "they" were waiting in Atlas' hotel room to kill him.
Dutch, there were no websites in 1988. Brody died at the hospital not the arena, after Tony had been told by the doctor that Brody was stable and would live.
He clearly misspoke and meant dirtsheets. As for the second part, he said himself he left. So everything is 2nd hand. As to who told him that is the question.
