The two teams that played in Super Bowl 34 basically had their era's end on this day. The Titans would struggle for two more seasons with McNair (who had one final resurgence in Baltimore of all places) before moving to Vince Young. Yes the Rams won a Playoff game the following season, but were not close to the team they once had.
@@JahNuhThunDeeTheOneAndOnly The 2021 AFC gonna be another one of those weakest conferences ever I think. Pats have as good a shot as anyone (besides maybe Kansas City).
This game would mark -The final playoff game for Steve McNair with the Titans -The final game for Eddie George and Jevon Kearse with the Titans -The first playoff win at Gillette Stadium for the Patriots
@@chrisuncleahmad Peyton would expose their secondary. Their secondary was their weakest link. They were getting exposed by teams like the Bills and the Texans but they were good at creating turnovers
Considering what happened to the Rams on the day of this game and afterwards and what would happen to the Titans on this day and afterwards, this was the last hoorah for Super Bowl 34
More like the last hoorah of any 90s remnants as well-Marshall Faulk and Isaac Bruce were getting old while Steve McNair and Eddie George weren’t too far behind in age.
@@chrisuncleahmad I’m making a prediction already that the colts will win because look at what Peyton did to the Broncos defense. If he does that to their defense, I bet you he will obliterate the hell outta the Chiefs defense
If you're New England, would you rather host the Chiefs or Colts next week? I honestly would take my chances with Indy- KC is built like a cold weather team and doesn't seem like a squad that'll be fazed by bad weather. Plus, Peyton is 0-for-4 at Foxboro.
Even Jim Tressel and the 2002 Buckeyes think the Patriots play it way too close every week. Some say they find a way to win, others say they keep flirting with disaster. You make the call.
Not many talk about the Adam Vinatieri kick that broke the tie ball game. Again making a clutch kick in the cold. It's licking kicking a wet and iced red dodgeball that you see at school. That was clutch kick like he did in the Raiders in 2001.
and seemingly most of them by the skin of their teeth. Winning so many close games is not a good sign for a team- outside of 2-3 games, they've basically escaped every other game. This is NOT sustainable.

They won a playoff game in one the weakest conferences/leagues in pro sports history-the 2004 NFC.
The Rams actually could’ve won more games if Bulger played 16 games. They could’ve been 10-6 or something and won the west

This was for all intents and purposes the end of an era for the Titans.
2003 was basically their last shot with the McNair/Kearse/George nucleus.
Still think to this day it was their last team that could have won a championship. Haven't had faith in any of the other squads since.

The Titans certainly had their chances in this one.
No team has a chance with the Hidden Cam Pats
Tennessee could've easily stolen this game if not for a few key mistakes. End of an era for them.

That’s assuming they win at Arrowhead. And that would actually be a preferable matchup for the Pats as the Chiefs are more built for cold weather.
