How to make the Ultimate BLUEBERRY LIME POUND CAKE | Refreshing Summer Desert

This blueberry lime pound cake is the perfect summer desert. It is zesty and refreshing. The cream cheese frosting adds the right amount of sweetness and balance between the tartness of the blueberries.
INGREDIENTS I USED
For the cake
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
1 stick unsalted butter
4 oz cream cheese
2 large eggs
1tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lime/lemon extract
zest from 2 limes
1 cup fresh blueberries dusted with flour
Cream Cheese glaze
4 oz cream cheese
4 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon lime/lemon extract

I made it! I’m bringing it to a cookout right now! I can’t wait to taste this. The house smelled so amazing with the zesting of both lemon and lime. I put lime juice in the cake and real lemon juice in the frosting. I also did some
zest in the icing and on top of the cake. It looks so beautiful!

Hey Manza that cake looks delish where I live in Trinidad we have lots of citrus fruits limes lemons oranges portugal and grapefruit to name a few and other fresh fruits as well so I can experiment since we dont have fresh blueberries growing here we get d dried ones but its ok so thank you for yr time to do this lovely cake I am feeling for cake girl gonna do one soon God bless come visit my island smtime you wld love our lovely beaches and friendly ppl like me ❤❤❤❤ from Trinidad
