I understand why people want more appearances from him, his character design is great and complements the other characters in just the right way, but he's not really supported as a character. He's never appeared in any games other than sports games (as Wario's doubles partner mostly), Mario Kart, and Mario Party. Wario is regarded as significant because he had WarioWare, but Waluigi has nothing. I feel like they never intended for him to be as cool as he is.
The hate for Skyward Sword wasn’t from the motion controls themselves; it was from the fact that they were forced, and the fact that the Wiimote’s motion tracking was atrocious, even with the Wii Motion+ addon(and the nunchuk’s was even worse!). The Switch joycons have far better motion tracking than the Wiimote did. Edit: There’s also the fact that many people were just bad at the game, but I was trying to avoid saying it.
I don't think so because Chuggaconroy played the entire game with the Wii Remote under his desk and executed the motion controls perfectly. People seem to think that you can just swing wildly and you'll win but that'll just get you killed in Skyward Sword. You gotta set up your position then swing. It requires strategy not brute force. You can also use more than just the freaking sword. The slingshot alone can stun your enemies for a brief period, allowing you to get some free hits on them, and that's without upgrading it.
The Plants vs. Zombies Battle for NeighborVille Switch port is actually something big. If you remember, the last PvZ thing on Nintendo was the DS port of the first game around 2009/2010, so it's been like 2 decades since that.

The reason for the art style in Splatoon3 is down to Splatfest being the deciding factor. The big splatfest event was Chaos vs Order, Chaos won 3-0 hence the apocalyptic scenery, that structure at the start was the Eiffel tower upside down.
They had to have the tilt stick sword because skyward sword features enemys that block from certain angles and require you to chop in certain directions.
@@Jessica_Schweser Technically you could just make the game "auto-pick" the correct direction if it was one attack button so it would be possible but obviously that would make the game too easy loosing all strategy so them mapping it to the stick was the best option they could do without making it too easy or reworking the entire game's combat.

The reason they had to map Skyward Sword's motion controls to the C-Stick is because adjusting it to normal controls would mean that nearly all difficulty that stems from combat would be completely gone, with the only other option being rewriting the AI and animations of nearly every enemy in the game almost completely from scratch.

They'd probably have to redesign a significant part of the game.

How would you slash diagonally with buttons? You also probably need those buttons for other things. Using buttons for slashing would require you to use 5 different buttons: Down, left, right, diagonally (L), diagonally, (R), and pressing 5 buttons on top of others to fight sounds VERY inconvenient.
