Got holes all In mine from bolting stuff to it. Never had a problem . Tiny drips here and there maybe and just flip it over when I get back and drain it out. Condensation puts more water in mine than random holes .
The transducer came with screws and a stand to screw into a surface and the scotty transducer mount comes with many small holes that will fit many types of mounts. Also I can’t remember what size bolt it was I had to take the mount to Home Depot to see what would fit best.
You need to put some silicone in the holes you drilled and on the screws for the rod mount. It WILL leak with out silicone.

Is that the desert storm one?
@@sambro9134 I wish I could remember, but yes that does sound very familiar
@@georgemarschall9852there a white one and desert storm. The desert storm looks more of a camo look. I like the look.
Did you just run the black and red cord straight to the battery full time and take them off to charge the battery ?
Exactly!
@@georgemarschall9852 thank you
Hey I have another question how did you mount the transducer to the Scotty mount ? Mine has a half inch gap or more . Also what size bolt ?
