Recently found a model 8 at the local pawn shop for a good price. It's now on the wall due to 35 rem not available in MI and online prices are around 3 bucks a round. Still love it

Two toned magazine is not where they dipped it.
The tops were hardened and the finish used won't take on the hardened metal

I have two of these. A 30 and a 300 savage. Can't find shell for the 30. I have 2 boxes left. I took it deer hunting out on perry island out of Whittier Alaska last year. I shoot the 300 savage quit a bit
