Demolition Waste Garbage Trucks in Manhattan

While I was traveling in New York City back in June I came across a few of the hundreds of demolition waste trucks similar to these that are contracted to collected at various construction sites in the city every day. Many companies run on an on-call basis, meaning that they could be anywhere at anytime - it just depends which project needs them. One construction site can have multiple companies/trucks haul their trash away each day. While rolloffs are the standard method of storage for construction waste here on the west coast, space is extremely limited in cities like New York which is why they need stuff hauled away fast - another reason for there being very few roll offs on the streets.
Leach 2RIIs happen to be the most popular truck these contractors use as their compacting body, and being that most are paired with the old school Mack RD600 chassis, the entire operation vibes an extremely tough, rugged, dirty, and classic feel. Along with the occasional Loadmaster or newer smooth body version of either make, all in vibrant, customized colors, these demolition trucks never fail to be aesthetically pleasing.
