How to make Gesso at home | White Gesso | Black Gesso | Pigmented Gesso | Homemade Gesso | DIY Gesso

Learn how to make white gesso, black gesso or any pigmented gesso easily at home. This DIY Gesso is very simple to make with just 3 ingredients. Gesso is used as a primer. For lighter projects use white gesso. For darker projects use black gesso. Clear gesso is also very helpful.

I think, for professional paintings and artworks store bought gesso is good. For a beginner, who is still in learning process, for various trials and errors, homemade gesso is cost efficient. And can make any pigmented gesso of choice. For personal DIY arts and home DIY projects very little amount is needed, which can be made at home.
